Its a very good restaurant to try Indian cuisine. Located in a quite neighbor. Food tasted nice. They should put a fan(ceiling or table fan) at all sides of the restaurant. We were a group of 11, and the corner we sat didn't have good ventilation. Service is nice. Parantha, Prawn Pathia, Goan Monkfish curry tasted good. Table reservation is recommended.

I arrived as a solo diner around 6:30 PM on a Monday and was quoted a 20-minute wait. I spent that time in your bar area, which provided a very pleasant environment to relax with a drink before being seated exactly on schedule.
Based on my server’s recommendation, I ordered the chicken ruby with garlic naan. The curry was excellent, offering a wonderful balance of umami and creaminess with the perfect level of spice. The meat was notably tender and well-infused with flavor. While the garlic naan was light and fluffy, I found the garlic flavor to be a bit subtle and would have preferred it to be more pronounced.
To drink, I tried the mango and fennel lassi. The mango was crisp and fresh, and I appreciated that the consistency was not too thick or overly sweet. However, I didn't quite pick up on the fennel notes.
Overall, the portion sizes were good, and while the pricing reflects a higher-end experience, the quality of the meal was impressive. I am already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of your extensive menu.
What a delightful evening we had! We had a booking but literally had no wait - it was a rainy evening so that may have worked in our favour.
The service was amazing, we had a very attentive waiter (forgot his namebut he was from Portugal), who took the time to explain some items on the menu for us. He was also kind enough to make some recommendations - which were spot on! The mutton pepper fry with the soft pillowy rotis were a firm favourite.
The chicken ruby and prawn moilee also went down a treat. We had cocktails and mocktails - no complaints at all.
We can't wait come back and try some different items on the menu. Highly recommended 👌🏾
10/10 experience at dishoom on Tuesday! My friend and I had a fabulous dining experience at the chain this week.
I adored the ruby Murray (mutton pepper fry), the sauce was AMAZING! I literally lapped up every reminisce as it was tooooo good. However, I was a bit too adventurous and ate the black pepper (not a good idea 🤣). I also ordered the masala prawns, which were super succulent and tasty. There was a fight between my friend and I to who gets the last prawn! Finally, we also ordered the lamb samosas which were absolutely divine.
The waitress was so lovely and made the experience 10/10. She had such positive vibes and brought out a birthday dessert (on the house?!) for myself. I really appreciated it so much and it made the day so much sweeter. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name but I remember she had a yellow star pimple patch sticker on her face!
Overall would highly recommend. If you are thinking of going do book a table in advance as it was soooooooo busy at around 6:00/7:00 ish on Tuesday.
Visited the Shoreditch franchise today and it was nothing but the best! The staff is unbelievably friendly yet professional. Can’t expect this in heart of London anywhere nowadays. Sat in the Veranda section which is outside the main wing of the restaurant and the ambience is next level. Comfy sofas with low table or choices of high table as per own choice. Food is excellent and service is prompt. Kids friendly and wheelchair accessible. Would definitely recommend Serene who is the host ( supervisor ) who plays an inevitable part in running the busy operation so smoothly.
