We had a wonderful time here! The espresso macchiato was perfectly pulled, and the mango dessert was the highlight—so fresh and flavorful. We sat and enjoyed some great people watching while we ate. Definitely a must-visit!
Stopped for a sweet bite took three desserts and a cold coffee, the coffee was great but the desserts were a wonderful surprise. There was thought out into each one, and craftsmanship. The staff were lovely and English speaking. Reasonable pricing for the area and the quality. Definitely recommend!
This place is a must visit in Prague! The pastries are on another level! They are so exquisite and look super amazing and creative! I ordered a pastry that looked like a corona virus, it actually tasted very nice! It had a raspberry jelly in the center that was tart and not overly sweet, contrasting the creamy exterior of the rest of the chocolate creamy pastry! The coffee was also great, my friend ordered a prosecco and commented that the pastry and prosecco paired very well together!
A beautiful stop, but mixed results - 3/5
A natural pause after hours of walking through Prague’s Old Town. Cerna Madona catches your eye immediately - the dessert display case alone is a work of art, rows of immaculately crafted pastries that look almost too good to eat.
The coffee and tea were good, and the pumpkin soup was a genuine highlight - warm, flavorful, and exactly what you need mid-exploration.
The desserts are visually spectacular, but the execution doesn’t always match the presentation. The Pavlova was a disappointment - no cream, dry, and frankly quite boring for something that looked so promising. The red velvet spiral cake (pictured) was stunning to look at, and the fresh fruit cream cake was charming - but the Pavlova needs serious rethinking.
Service is efficient and the place is clean and well-run. It’s clearly geared toward tourists, which keeps things smooth but takes away some of the local character.
Nice café with a beautiful atmosphere. We tried the chocolate mousse and blueberry mousse — both were good and nicely presented, but nothing extraordinary in terms of taste. Still, a pleasant place to stop for dessert while exploring Prague.
