We ate breakfast here every morning, and there was always a table available near the pool. Everything looked fresh, hot, and well stocked. The staff was attentive —quick to offer coffee and clear used dishes.
The fresh Hawaiian pastries were always tempting, and gluten-free options were available as well.
In addition to the traditional American breakfast items, there was an Asian section with miso soup, salmon, dumplings, Asian noodles, and seaweed, which added nice variety.
The fresh fruit selection included excellent papaya, which was a real treat.
There was also an omelet station tucked behind the wall.
One of the unexpected pleasures was watching the chickens try to wander among the tables, the children chasing them, and the staff gently shooing them away. The chickens clearly knew the routine—staying down the stairs when staff approached and running back up as soon as they left—which added some lighthearted humor to the mornings.
Breakfast was complimentary as part of the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts program.
We love staying at the Fairmont. This is a great breakfast spot. Everyone is always so friendly and the restaurant itself is so pretty. The food is good, classic buffet.
Although the price is a bit high for a breakfast buffet, it is very enjoyable. The resort itself is stunningly beautiful to walk through. We visited the restaurant as outside guests, not staying in the hotel. The hospitality from the staff was extremely high level. They were all extremely nice. The parking was extremely easy and free. The food offered at the breakfast buffet was very tasty with a good amount of variety. We were sat at an outside table with a lovely view of the resort. It was a great experience and I would recommend.
Breakfast buffet is excellent - very nice variety with some elements that change each day. Custom omelet/egg station, varying fresh juices, cocktail shrimp, and Asian breakfast items. Breakfast was included with our room so we ate here every morning. If not included, I could see that such a large breakfast would not be necessary every day on vacation, but it sure was fun!
Ate at the breakfast buffet during our stay at the Fairmont. We especially enjoyed the fresh papaya, macadamia nut sticky buns, and omelette bar. But the best part was the warm welcome & farewell from Porsche, who was our lovely server on our first and last day. Find yourself a table in her section!
