Had such a great experience at La Frida! The food was incredible—everything was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. The dessert was just as impressive—huge portions and absolutely delicious.
Emily made the whole experience even better. She was so personable, attentive, and genuinely warm, which really stood out. You can tell she cares about her guests.

First time trying La Frida and she did 👏 not 👏 disappoint! Short wait for 2, INCREDIBLE cocktails, fabulous service from the lovely and knowledgeable Maribel, and entrees were beautiful and delicious. The Encanto spiced peach Cheesecake for dessert was a dream. We’ll definitely be back ASAP!
Absolutely worth the 2hour wait ! The service is impeccable. Waiter & owner offer such details, providing taste test of the sauces in the menu dishes. The cheese dip provided with the chips 10/10, red chili sauce 10/10, black beans 10/10 everything is so light and delicious. The drinks 10/10 beautiful and delicious. We went for Mother's Day it was a great experience. Everyone of the wait staff provides great customer service. The music playing takes us back to our grandmother's music. Only think I can think of that was lacking was a purse hanger in the bathroom. Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Tucson !
Wonderful experience! The wait for 2 was not long at all, the food was delicious and beautiful, and our server, Maribel, was excellent! I really liked how they brought out the salsas to try with the chips so you could decide what to order. They also have a great (and affordable) mocktail menu. We are absolutely going to become regulars.
