L’Amico is the kind of place that makes an ordinary meal feel special. The vibe is warm and stylish, service is friendly and polished, and the food is consistently delicious—fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully plated. We loved the handmade pasta and wood-fired pizza (that perfect chewy-crisp crust), and the seasonal small plates are great for sharing. Cocktails were on point, too. It’s an easy pick for date night, celebrations, or a relaxed dinner with friends. Highly recommend—can’t wait to go back.
We enjoyed our date night here. The food and service were great. The sommelier recommended a nice wine for us. The octopus appetizer and their daily special which was a lobster pasta was so delicious.

The restaurant is attached to the hotel through the lobby, so it's very easy to access if you're staying at the Kimpton. I had breakfast 2 mornings I was there, mainly out of convenience. Both mornings were quiet and peaceful, just a few other guests. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
I had some kind of eggs Benedict dish (don't mind my travel buddy action figure). It was pretty good, a bit heavy and greasy for my taste, but it took a really long time, like 25 minutes. The server kept coming out and apologizing, but I wasn't in any rush. So I was pleasantly surprised when he came back with a slice of fresh banana bread, on the house. It was delicious!
I had the bagel and lox the next time. This was really good but pricey, like $25+ tax. I understood when it came out. The portion was huge! It was a build-it-yourself board, and while it was outstanding, there was enough salmon for more than 2 bagels. I could barely finish half of it.
The prices were very good for the quality and amount of food, but as a solo diner, I found my selections to be too much food. I'd definitely come back if I stay at this hotel again, but I'd look for something a bit smaller or lighter.

Took my fiance here for our 3 year anniversary. Place was supposed to be 5 stars across the board. Food LOOKED great.
I ordered the wood roasted chicken. Overcooked and dry.
My fiance ordered the scallops. They were super mushy. Might want to check the date or the supplier.
Also, ordered "still" water. Waiter came over with an open bottle and we got charged $10 for it. The bottle wasn't even opened in front of us.
Disgusting food and service. $94 for sub par service. Should have went to McDonald's
Update: had it coming out both ends all night. Got food poisoning. Great experience 🙄

It was big. We went right before the city turned the water off (as we were told) so everyone used the facility first. (around 9pm) The food was great. The service was good considering how many customers were there. Everyone had a good time there.
