Little Aosta

We had an outstanding lunch here, it looked like an inviting spot from the cold street. Had the mulled cider which was delicious, then a tiramisu martini and the pizza panini. Service was wonderful, and so was the food. Thank you!

Didn’t really enjoy the set menu, the taste of oil olive in every dish was a bit too overpowering and the tomato pasta flavour didn’t really hit the spot for me. I did really like the lamb main though and the service was great.

Family of 4. Pizzas were fantastic. Pasta was a bit of a mess - we ordered the serving for 2 which was barely enough for one (refer pic). The reasoning was the pasta comes from their “fine dining” sister restaurant next door (which we chose against because we didn’t want fine dining). We complained and they quickly provided another complimentary serving. So no issues in the end but disappointing we had to make a point of it. Staff were lovely otherwise. Nice location and interior. Prices ok.

After such wonderful dealings with Luca at Aosta, he booked us in at Little Aosta as the bigger sister restaurant was fully booked. Oh my word, the food at Little Aosta was by far THE BEST Italian all at the table have ever consumed. We ordered the New Yorker’s (Pepperoni Pizza) and Lamb Ragu Pappardelle (lamb pasta). I can not even describe the Ragu’s glorious pasta and flavour infusion. 🤌🏽 The pizza also the best of my life, and let me tell you I have had my share of pizza lol. Thank you again Luca, and those that fed us at Little Aosta. Absolute perfection! p.s just be prepared for a long wait time between ordering and receiving food - when food tastes of that quality, one assumes it takes time.
