Local Hotel (Early Career)

The hotel was great, the guy at the front desk helped us get our stuff up to our room. It would've been a solid 5 stars but they make no mention anywhere that they do not have an elevator- we stayed on the third floor. And while they do have three ADA compliant rooms I chose a king bed (cause vacation hello) and that wasn't an option. Next time I would call ahead and see if they have king beds on the first or even second floor (the second floor only has one small flight of stairs from the back door where most of the parking is). My 2 year old LOVED the bounce houses and just running around the gym with the skate night lights. Overall I would absolutely stay here again- just know if you have accessibility needs book through them and call about your needs!!

I booked this hotel for my husband and I after spending the day in Weston. When we arrived, we waited for an awkward amount of time for someone to arrive at the front desk to check us in. When he gave us our room key and said the room was “in the basement” I thought it was a joke. It wasn’t. It was literally like a basement dorm room or prison cell. It had no windows. I’m not even sure how the fire code allows that. The room was clean-ish. When we pulled back the blankets there was a bug crawling. The only thing in that room that was as pictured in the VRBO posting was the bathroom. The location was good and the staff was friendly. But unless you’re feeling like a teenager hanging out in your parent’s basement or a white collar prisoner in a low-security prison, I’d book elsewhere.

Staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and modern. They host many family events for the local community because the building is a renovated school made into a hotel. The gym is a skate rink, bounce house area, basketball court, and several other things for kids and local community to come and enjoy. They have renovated the auditorium into a conference hall or even movie theatre on special occasion. Literally, the local chamber of commerce held an event there one night during my stay. It is located in the downtown area of the town and is within walking distance to many restaurants or boutique shopping. Highly recommended.

Very quaint but also spacious and stylish! Rooms were very comfortable and provided all needs during my stay. Staff is very accommodating and thoughtful. I visited Leavenworth for very first time to visit my son at Domiciliary and will be returning monthly. Look forward to staying at Local Hotel in days to come! Thank you for your service!!!
