Masseria Frattasi

We have been here twice - once last Oct of 2023 and today. Their wines are fantastic! Especially the Aglianico dell Taburno. It’s a great place to visit, only an hour or so from Bella Napoli… but their customer service is lacking. Especially for Americans. When we arrive, we want to start, not wait more then 30 minutes for I have no idea what, only then to start tasting wine. Offer us a small taste and let’s get moving. This weekend was the aperto cantine, so let’s do some tastings… no. Instead we had to select full glasses (at very reasonable prices) instead of small pours to taste your different wines. It’s a great place to come for an afternoon of wine tasting, but realize you’re on their program… whatever that is?!

One of the best wines I’ve found in Italy!

We have visited Masseria Frattasi three times already. The estate is nestled among the vineyards with a beautiful view towards Montesarchio. We have always received a very warm welcome and exceptionally competent advice and service. The wines are outstanding and easily rival those of well-known names. First of all, I'm not a great wine connoisseur. I went there for a tasting and toured the cellar. I noticed a lot of dedication and passion. The wines I tasted were excellent. The tasting room was beautiful, with a window overlooking an enchanting location.

Cantina Frattasi is simply excellent! Every sip of their wines is an explosion of refined and authentic Sannio flavors. The attention to detail and the careful production process are clearly reflected in the final product. Beyond the extraordinary wine, the welcoming atmosphere and the hospitality of the staff make every visit an unforgettable experience.
