This restaurant is actually not okay. We waited for two hours in order to get our food. Didn’t even get water. The food is good but you can make schnitzel yourself and it isn’t worth it to come here, especially if you are hungry. I would avoid.
I had high hopes for this restaurant after I saw some influencer videos online. Save your money. The food is mediocre, takes 90+ minutes to be served, and staff are rude and unfriendly. It was by a wide margin the worst meal I have had in Israel. I left a review on Instagram and the restaurant replied showing their professionalism - with profanities and bullying. I am reasonably certain in a few weeks time this restaurant will be closed and bankrupt!
The whole operation feels disorganized.
A common pattern is that one person waits in line while their partner occupies a table. This creates chaos because customers who are still waiting to order end up taking seats, while people whose food is actually ready often have nowhere to sit.
The wait to place an order is understandable, but once you've ordered, the menu is heavily concentrated around one item, chicken, which appears to account for the vast majority of orders. Given the visible queue size, the kitchen should be better prepared to scale production and maintain a more efficient cooking cadence.
As for the food:
The schnitzel was decent, but nothing special. It was not particularly crispy and felt very traditional. Overall, it was fine.
The mashed potato refill concept is a gimmick that does not work. Having to wait for someone pushing a cart to come around for a second serving is unnecessarily inconvenient. By the time the refill arrives, the mash is often cold. It was also overly watered down. The time required to get a refill is surprisingly long. It would make much more sense to serve a proper portion initially and offer additional refills on demand from a dedicated station or side counter.
The orzo was okay, but overpriced for what it is.
Big fan of pasta, not the schnitzel. Hope you'll get better.
