My experience was good overall, but there were some aspects that could be improved.
I started with the Caprese salad. Since it was early August, I expected ripe, flavorful tomatoes at the peak of their season. Unfortunately, the tomatoes were quite bland and lacked the freshness and taste expected from a summer Italian salad. The olives were also disappointing, while the mozzarella was good quality.
The tagliatelle al ragù was the highlight of the meal. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the dish was well prepared, tasty, and representative of the local cuisine.
I also ordered two draft beers, but unfortunately neither of them was served cold enough, which affected the overall experience.
The service was polite but rather cold and not particularly welcoming. I understand that everyone can have a difficult or busy day, but a warmer approach would have made a difference.
The final bill was €28.50 for one person, which I consider a fair price for the meal.
Overall, a decent experience with a very good pasta dish, but improvements in ingredient quality, beverage service, and hospitality would make this restaurant much better.

We ordered one lasagna alla bolognese and let’s just say we have bad a whole lot better at a restaurant nearby.
Ostera dell’Orsa was so highly rated and made popular on social media that I was quite excited to try but the lasagna tasted ok, nothing special, very forgettable.
The seating was also provided in its sister cafe so the vibes and atmosphere were a bit different. It wouldn’t have mattered if the food had been good.
Cannot recommend wholeheartedly.
The dish I ordered (the one in my photo, I unfortunately forgot its name) was absolutely delicious. I actually preferred it over the lasagna.
The lasagna was very good as well, but this dish, with its pesto sauce, had a very good aroma and flavor that really stood out.
The portion size, price, and taste were all good. In my opinion, it is definitely worth the wait, even if there is a line.
Unfortunately, the tiramisu was sold out when we visited, so we ordered the cream dessert instead. It turned out to be very tasty as well, and we enjoyed it.
We tried three times to eat inside the restaurant. For the first twice, the line was just too long. The third time, we came at 8:30pm, we were the first or second in the waiting line. The food really worths the waiting. Organic quality, great tasty food, very reasonable price- everything. Was perfect. You may have to wait a bit to get the service- since they were so busy and there were so many customers. Best food in Bologna!
Great experience dining here for lunch. Cozy ambience with wooden chairs and long benches. I, however, ate in the terrace under the Bologna sun. Everybody was trying the ragu but since i dont eat beef, i went with the pork option and it was fantastic with parmesan cream sauce. And the pea pasta was solid 10/10. Never had a peas pasta and it was delicious. Walk in early to get a table, the lines get long quickly
