The dish I ordered (the one in my photo, I unfortunately forgot its name) was absolutely delicious. I actually preferred it over the lasagna.
The lasagna was very good as well, but this dish, with its pesto sauce, had a very good aroma and flavor that really stood out.
The portion size, price, and taste were all good. In my opinion, it is definitely worth the wait, even if there is a line.
Unfortunately, the tiramisu was sold out when we visited, so we ordered the cream dessert instead. It turned out to be very tasty as well, and we enjoyed it.

We tried three times to eat inside the restaurant. For the first twice, the line was just too long. The third time, we came at 8:30pm, we were the first or second in the waiting line. The food really worths the waiting. Organic quality, great tasty food, very reasonable price- everything. Was perfect. You may have to wait a bit to get the service- since they were so busy and there were so many customers. Best food in Bologna!

Great experience dining here for lunch. Cozy ambience with wooden chairs and long benches. I, however, ate in the terrace under the Bologna sun. Everybody was trying the ragu but since i dont eat beef, i went with the pork option and it was fantastic with parmesan cream sauce. And the pea pasta was solid 10/10. Never had a peas pasta and it was delicious. Walk in early to get a table, the lines get long quickly

A really great find in the heart of the university district! The food was very good quality and wonderfully comforting. While it might not be the absolute number one culinary masterpiece in Bologna, it is easily one of the best value-for-money meals you can get in the city. The homemade tagliatelle al ragù was delicious, the atmosphere is lively and rustic with shared tables, and the low prices are unbeatable. Perfect for a casual, authentic meal—just be ready to wait a bit at the door since they don't take reservations!
