I’ve been coming here since 2011, and even though ownership has changed within the same family over the years, the quality has remained consistently excellent.
A few weeks ago, I picked up their lamprais and was genuinely surprised by how good it was. Not only was the quality outstanding, but it was also very reasonably priced compared to other places charging close to $30 for an inferior product.
Today I stopped by for mutton rolls and was once again impressed. They tasted just as good as I remember from years ago. After speaking with the owner, I learned they still hand-roll them rather than using machines, which explains the authentic texture and quality.
What stood out most was the owner’s commitment to consistency—he told me he personally inspects the food before it goes out to customers. It’s rare to find that level of care these days. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Tamil baked goods and food.
The lamprais was large, enough to feed 2 people at a minimum. We ordered the mutton and chicken and came with egg, eggplant/onion sambal, fried fish cutlet. The meat was flavorful and plentiful! Definitely a must get! Our favorite was the mutton rolls, spicy ground mutton filling with a crispy breaded exterior. It was also made to order. We called in advance for pick up. The staff were kind and professional. Would highly recommend this spot for Sri Lankan food

I had an absolutely stellar experience here. While the space is cozy, it is impeccably clean and organized. The customer service was a highlight—the staff are incredibly kind and clearly know their menu inside and out.
The Lamprais was the star of the show; honestly, it’s the best I’ve ever had. Everything from the portion size and depth of flavor to the perfect rice-to-meat ratio was spot on. Given the quality, the price is an absolute steal. I’ll definitely be back to try the mutton rolls, kottu roti, and fish buns everyone is raving about!

I ordered 25 samosas 25 patties last week for a potluck party. These were the perfect food for potluck. Price is amazing. I had researched and called a lot of different locations and they hadn’t had anything cheap like this place. Plus the spicy patties were praised by a lot of people in the party. They make the food fresh and their customer service is really great! They also put a lot of care in their food for eg. they use separate cooking utensils for vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Best restaurant to go for group order!

I love this place. Definitely deserves the high ratings it gets. My new go-to for food and convenient South Asian bakery, since it’s close to where I live. Food is absolutely delicious, tried it through Too Good To Go one day, and it was amazing. Come in with cash if you can! It’s a significant discount! No tax and no credit charge, a $9 dollar order is like $11 dollars with credit, but only $9 with cash.
Food: So freaking good. Love their mutton, fish, and chicken rolls and patties. Veggie patties and samosas are also really good. Good amount of flavour, good amount of filling, and very affordable especially for today’s standards. If you get lucky and come in as they’re finishing up some of the food, you get it piping hot, which tastes wonderful. My personal go to every time I come are the chicken patties and veggie samosas, but everything else I mentioned is great too! Only thing I don’t like is the onion bun though, but that’s more of me being picky with onions than the food being bad.
Service: Very kind and helpful people! Everyone who’s helped me here was friendly and prompt with any food I wanted to order or request. No complaints at all.
Atmosphere: Very comfy little place and smells amazing. It’s a hole in the wall place with a nice little atmosphere seeing the food around you and the counter in the middle!
Support your small hole-in-the-wall family businesses and places! These places make the best food for the best prices! Especially with how expensive everything is nowadays, plus you actually know what’s in the food unlike some fast food places that I will not mention, since it’s usually somewhat home style cooking!
