Restaurant Lilou lives up to the promises of its namesake hotel: elegance, privacy, and flavor. We ate on the terrace next to the small pool. The atmosphere is refined yet authentic. The service is attentive. Now for the food. The decouvert menu is good (and affordable). The other dishes are beautifully presented and well-balanced. A special mention goes to the burrata with vegetables, a top-notch vegetarian option.

We came for brunch as a family (7 people) at this establishment, which we usually frequent and frequent whenever we're in the area. Unfortunately, this time, the experience was thoroughly spoiled by the service of one of the waitresses.
From the start, her attitude was cold, nervous, and at times condescending. The wine recommendations were clearly vague, the explanations rushed, and the service was noticeably inattentive. The wine was even served with such haste and carelessness that it was spilled on the table, without any apology. This is all the more regrettable for an establishment that emphasizes its wine cellar and the quality of its wines: one expects wine service to be carried out with more care and attention.
Throughout the meal, we also felt rushed, which prevented us from fully enjoying what is supposed to be a convivial and relaxed experience. The removal of our brunch dishes without warning was not appreciated.
The most regrettable part was when, upon paying the bill, a child was charged at the adult price, with an attitude that implied we weren't being honest. It would have been very simple to ask their age or, once the mistake was realized, to apologize.
This is all the more unfortunate because we truly enjoy this place and return regularly. Unfortunately, just one person was enough to spoil the experience for our entire group. We hope this was an isolated incident, but this negative experience will make us seriously hesitate before returning on our next trip to the area.

Excellent dinner last night at Lilou.
The place is warm and inviting, with tasteful and understated decor, elegant without ever being pretentious. The attentive and professional service offered excellent recommendations.
The wine list is superb, with some great selections at prices we wish we saw more often: a pleasant surprise in a touristy area.
On the plate, fresh, seasonal ingredients were elevated by the chef: simple, straightforward, and seasonal combinations, enhanced by sharp and refreshing seasonings (pork belly with harissa condiment, lamb with mint, oyster with apricot). Special mention also goes to the sharing appetizers, such as the panisses and the pizzetta, which are well worth trying.
In short, a wonderful experience to be repeated.
A big thank you to the whole team!
