Additional Details
Situated in Apiranthos, one of Naxos' most charming and traditional villages, Rotonda offers a unique setting away from the coastal crowds, providing an authentic island experience.
Breathtaking views of Naxos! Watching the sunset was amazing. Also the food was very delicious! We started off with the Mykonos sausage and cheese balls which were great. For our entrees we had the lamb shank and moussaka, very good and filling. We had a few good cocktails as well, can’t go wrong with any of them. And for dessert we had the banoffee.
This is the best restaurant on the island and probably the entirety of Greece. The staff is very friendly and polite, the food is spectacular, and to top it all off the views and scenery are the best you’ll get on the whole island. The steak, Ribeye black angus, was the best I’ve ever had on top of all of the fantastic appetizers and desserts. If you are looking for a great experience, the Rotonda sure did leave a fantastic impression and I would highly recommend it for others to experience the same.

Absolutely phenomenal aesthetic and views and vibes and food!
Came here for lunch with family and I bet the views would be spectacular at sunset.
Lovely that they have parking available on the spot too.
Cheese balls with the jam on the bottom - 10/10 ! Highly recommend!
Burger Patties with the tomato sauce, pita and yogurt - 12/10
This was definitely the best item here.
Cheese rolls the yogurt sauce - super yummy and had a nice feeling and that yogurt sauce on his own was also delicious. Wiped every bit of that sauce off the plate.
Fava beans with the caramelized onions and pork - it was it really creative combination. Absolutely loved the caramelized onions on top but they were too little of those. What have been phenomenal with extra caramelized onions. This was an option to easily make vegetarian by just asking them to remove the pork for my in-laws who are vegetarian.
Rosto - pork was really soft from tender and delicious. Beautiful plating here as well with the pork placed right on top of the mashed potatoes.
Mushroom Ravioli - in-laws who are vegetarian and usually picky eaters LOVED this! The feeling inside was so substantial and the sauce also had a really unique flavor.
Bolognese pasta - not a bad item but I wouldn't say that this is the highlight.
Fries and tzatziki - also yummy.
Pita bread was so soft and tasty too.
Banoffee pie was such a lovely dessert. So you need cardiocese so I'll get in a giant coffee mug with all the layers visible. I'm not usually a banana dessert person but this one was nice because there was only a subtle banana taste, and everything went well together.
One thing to not do is that they don't allow you to bring outside beverages or food items to be had on the table. They said that they would charge for anything kept on the tables so we kept our our Coke and other sodas that we bought aside.

This place was fantastic, the views alone are worth the drive up, but the food really was divine.
Drinks — I had “the IT” and I was pleasantly surprised. The tastes were not overpowering and I loved the refreshing spearmint addition. I thoroughly recommend it and it felt like it complemented the other dishes well.
Tatziki and sourdough — DELICIOUS start to the meal. Take a little swim with that sourdough bread into the Tatziki and you’ll feel like it was handed to you be Athena herself.
The Moussaka was beautifully presented, I loved the cast iron that it came it. There’s a nice pumpkin surprise in there which I found very refreshing (some may not enjoy it, but I did !)
The pork rosto was really quite nice. I felt the pork was a bit tougher than I expected, but the flavours went so well together. It came on a bed of mashed potatoes and I felt they all blended well! A dish that would even make Kratos smile.
Lastly we finished off with the orange pie. The texture was a bit different to the one we had an To Elliniko, but it was sublime — I highly recommend it as a way to finish off your meal!
It was a really enjoyable for my wife and I, and between the views and the food, it’ll make for an unforgettable experience.
As always, we dined and we dined so much 😆

Indeed one of the highest recommendation of the island both for the dinning options and the location (THE BEST SUNSET). Although a tourist attraction is not a tourist trap🙏 the food was great and the view amazing 🤩 🌆… one area for improvement is the management of the parking facility outside of the restaurant , where is mainly occupied by not customers of the restaurant but spontaneous drivers passing by and stop for the view - when you have to pay 50-60 euro per head some details makes the difference , but overall great restaurant to be In Rotonda
