E/Z access from the freeway. Underground parking available near by. A refreshing walk to the restaurant. Seating right on the water. Service by Pearl was EXCELLENT! She made sure we had everything we needed! Food was Excellent. Great atmosphere with live piano music in the background. Very pleasant, I HIGHLY recommend.

Beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view. The food is decent, but it does not reach a top-tier or Michelin-level standard. The service is professional, but it does not go beyond a basic level of execution. My biggest disappointment was the use of Dreyer’s commercial ice cream in the dessert presentation. For a serious steakhouse, this is not acceptable. In Oakland, with so many excellent artisanal ice cream makers nearby, the restaurant should either source a premium local product or make its own. A high-end dining experience requires attention to detail in every element, including the final course.

I had a wonderful experience at Scott’s Seafood in Oakland. I used to visit their Walnut Creek location often, so I was a bit sad when it closed—but this location definitely lived up to my expectations. The restaurant is beautifully situated near the bay, which creates a relaxing and scenic atmosphere. The interior design is elegant and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The food quality was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Everything we ordered was delicious, and you can really tell they take pride in their seafood. What stood out the most was the service. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and friendliness made the whole experience even better. Overall, we had a fantastic time—honestly, a 5/5 experience. I highly recommend this location, especially if you’re looking for great seafood, a beautiful view, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I've been to Scott's now for dinner and for their new Jazz Brunch and both have been nice! For dinner we had calamari, very delicious oyster Rockefeller (endorsed by my mother in law from New Orleans), seafood sautee and my husband had crab stuffed salmon with lobster sauce. Bananas foster bread pudding was also really good. We also sat by the window and had a beautiful sunset! For brunch the selection was bigger than I expected. A nice chilled seafood section, mini bagels with lox and all the fixins, carving board, assorted composed dishes like crab cake Benedict and seafood en croute, and several sweet options including my favorite - blintzes! I took my mom there and she was thrilled. Jazz band played a lot of fun songs as well. Overall this restaurant is perfect for a nice meal out. Tasty and scenic and well located in Jack London. Would definitely recommend!

Another excellent lunch at Scott's. This is my family's go-to place in the Bay Area. Over the past few decades the food, service and atmosphere have remained excellent. The parking is convenient, views gorgeous and location perfect. We look forward to many more years enjoying Scott's excellent food and service.
