A classic New York steakhouse with great food.
We ordered the Prime Rib ($82), Sirloin ($55) Clam Chowder ($16) Waffle Fries ($12), and Cheesecake ($11) and every dish was exceptional.
The Prime Rib was beautifully roasted with a rich, caramelized crust and a perfectly medium-rare centre. It was exceptionally juicy, buttery, and packed with deep beef flavour.
The Sirloin had a beautifully charred exterior with a well-developed crust while remaining tender, juicy, and full of rich beefy flavour.
The New England Clam Chowder was thick, velvety, and generously filled with tender clams and potatoes, making it rich and comforting without feeling overly heavy.
The waffle fries were perfectly golden and crispy, lightly seasoned with Parmesan, and had a fluffy interior an addictive side that paired perfectly with the steaks. We finished with the Cheesecake, which was rich, silky smooth, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.
We left completely full, and considering the quality of the food and the generous portions, we thought the prices were very reasonable.
We had a really good dinner at Smith & Wollensky. My husband ordered a steak, and it was delicious. I chose the crab cake and really enjoyed it as well. We visited on a Sunday evening, and the restaurant was surprisingly quiet, even though we'd heard reservations are usually needed. The service was fast, and the staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming. A great dining experience we would definitely recommend it.
Had a birthday celebration, and client closing lunch here today. Since it is lunch hour, the restaurant is not too crowded. Our waiter Adam is very attentive and super friendly!
He introduces the porter house and their special soft shell crap appetizers; they are super delicious!
Very happy with the selection of food we had here! Will definitely come again!
Highly recommended.
We visited Smith & Wollensky for a family dinner, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The team greeted us warmly and professionally, setting the tone for a great evening, and the service remained attentive throughout.
The filet mignon was the highlight, cooked to perfection 👌🏽.
Thank you, and God bless you and your family 😊
We came to Smith & Wollensky for the Weekend Wine Dinner. The food was very good, and the waiters were generous with the wine. The restaurant is noisy, but the atmosphere is pleasant. The only slight downside was one of our waiters—a pleasant, older gentleman, but perhaps a bit tired from work that day. Other than that, it was a very pleasant experience.
