Was immediately greeted by Franco and Carlos in the front entrance of a trendy lobby. Special thanks to Lacy, Rain, Diana, and Carolina for the ice and to Ula for the house service. Best hotel for the price. Staff is even better! Stanley kept us all safe at night. Great place to stay when you’re in New York City.
Second visit update 7/20
Immediately greeted by very friendly once again. Checkin line went very fast. Room was perfectly clean thanks to Dolkar. Carlos and Chris once again help guide me thru the city. Joseph was also very helpful and helping me get ice, the hotel needs to fix the ice machines, but he got it done.
As always, highly recommend this hotel for the people. If you’re coming into work or a holiday. When you come in late at night, the hotel is completely safe….witnessed someone trying to follow people in, but Stanley stopped them and immediately asked for my key as well. When late check is available or if you need to be on a work call they provide extra time. Stephen gave me quickest checkout as I was in a rush and validated my parking discount is a huge feature as well below the hotel.
Get to know the people and guests would be my recommendation as well!
I recently stayed at YOTEL Times Square and was impressed by its futuristic, efficient concept.
The room felt almost like a compact spaceship cabin. The bed folded away at the touch of a button, creating extra standing space during the day. Despite the small footprint, a narrow floor-to-ceiling window offered a beautiful view toward New Jersey.
The hotel experience is highly automated. Check-in is done through self-service stations similar to those found at airports, and you can issue as many key cards as needed.
One interesting aspect is the elevator system: you first take an elevator to the 4th floor and then transfer to a second set of elevators to reach the upper guest floors, such as the 19th floor.
The location is extremely convenient, situated on the edge of Times Square along 10th Avenue, allowing easy access to the theater district while being slightly removed from the busiest crowds.
The biggest surprise was the price. During the first week of the World Cup, when many Manhattan hotels had increased their rates to $1,200 to $1,800 per night, YOTEL was still available for around $300 per night, making it one of the best value options in the city.
Overall, YOTEL offers a modern, efficient, and surprisingly enjoyable stay for travelers who appreciate innovative use of space, technology, and smart value during peak travel periods.

This weekend me and my partner stayed at Yotel. We chose this hotel because it was convenient for our plans and it looked nice. Upon arrival the staff were friendly but what awaited us in our room was not what we expected. The bed sheets were stained with weird brown spots as well as the countertops, seemed to be makeup from a previous person. There was a very mildew smell coming from the shower that made the room intolerable. The hotel claims to be very tech advanced but that was not the case. The thermostat in our room was completely turned off, the towel heater was not working and the backlight to the vanity mirror also was not working. Let’s not even mention the dust buildup.
Once we brought these problems to the attention of one of the concierge staff they said there was nothing they could do because housekeeping is not available all day. He proceeded to say he would send someone to change our sheets though and when we returned to the room, after being served flat ginger beer at the bar, the new sheets were tossed on the bed forcing me and my partner to put them on ourselves.
Normally I wouldn’t mind making my own bed but since I paid $400 for the room and hotel services I would expect someone else to put them on for me in this situation.
Overall don’t let the tiktok reviews fool you. This hotel definitely has its cons and to me is not worth the price for how small the rooms are and for how dirty our room was. Hopefully those reading have a better experience

We arrived at the hotel feeling a bit hesitant because of the Google reviews. There was indeed some visible wear and tear in places, but overall the experience was good and everything felt compact and practical. When booking, you can already see that the room is not large, but it was completely sufficient for our stay.
The bathroom lacked some privacy, but as a married couple, that wasn’t an issue for us. We stayed on the top floor and the views were amazing. The electronic bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The staff were genuinely very friendly and welcoming.
Despite these small shortcomings, I’m still giving a full five stars. Thank you — I would gladly come back again.

I messaged the front desk by text my first night as instructed and got up and left for work on the second day. I woke up and the room was a little warm but nothing to write home about. Still no answer 20 hours later so I dropped by the front desk on my way up to get ready for an event. Once I talked to the front desk they told me there was one room not checked into of my type but the other room was checked into while I was at the desk. If they had answered my text they could have switched me. I went upstairs to wait on maintenance and not only can they not fix the tub but the A/C was broken and it was over 80 degrees in the room.
I have a perishable medication that I requested a fridge for and there is no mini fridge (something I requested a previous stay and was given) and it starts to perish over 80 degrees.
They reset the A/C and the temp is coming down, but I’m sweating. What was supposed to be a fun staycation for me while working at my company HQ is really crappy and not worth the $300+ a night.
I just left since my room wasn’t cool enough and the front desk said the manager would be in touch about the second night but they just charged me anyway. Amazing they can respond to my Google review faster than I can talk to management.
