Brilliant venue, very friendly staff, very clean toilets, even friendly security staff! The Royal Republic gig was amazing, great sound and lots of great viewing areas giving superb views of the stage. Nice big chill out area up the stairs to wait for an uber afterwards. Will be checking what other gigs you have so we can come again. Took a load of videos of the gig so check them out too.
It's a great venue, big enough for a crowd but small enough to still feel intimate. Bar and toilets easy to access. Have some great bands too. Can recommend orange zone multistory car park after about 6pm as it becomes open to the public and you can't miss it. Lovely campus too.
My friend and I went to see Johnny Marr last night. He was excellent as expected. The sound was also good and the bar prices reasonable. However, we are both over 6' tall and could see almost nothing of the stage despite moving three or four times. Pillars everywhere and stairwells full of people trying to get a view. I would estimate I have been to at least 500 gigs since the 80s. My mate and I can't remember a worse venue. We will not return
Excellent venue for live music. Big enough to get a decent crowd but also small enough to preserve some intimacy with the performers. Choose whether you stand around the upper level for a good view or go down in the pit for a mosh!!
Saw Obituary perform here and it was a very loud and very fun gig. The staff were all friendly and security was efficient. I really liked the raised section that allows you to look down onto the mosh pit while also getting a good view of the stage. There are no bad spots in this venue and you can enjoy the gif from everywhere.
