Review of a Peruvian Restaurant in Novara – An Unforgettable Experience for an Argentine in Italy
I'm Argentine, and I've lived in Italy for a while, and today I was fortunate enough to discover a Peruvian restaurant in Novara that truly won me over. From the first moment, the welcome was warm, friendly, and familiar: the simple yet refined atmosphere made me feel right at home.
For my appetizer, I enjoyed a Sopa de Sancochado, a rich and fragrant soup, bursting with deep flavors. The broth was intense, with tender meat, potatoes, corn, and well-balanced vegetables. A heart-warming dish, perfect for those seeking authenticity and tradition.
For my second course, I chose Carapulcra de Chancho, a classic Peruvian dish: dehydrated potatoes and pork in a rich, perfectly spiced sauce. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, revealing the history and soul of Andean cuisine.
To round out the meal, pear juice served at room temperature—just the way I like it—complemented the dishes perfectly without overpowering their flavors. Natural, light, and pleasant.
The service was quick, attentive, and very friendly. You could sense the passion of those who work with love and respect for their culinary culture.
I can honestly say that it was one of the best gastronomic experiences I've had in Italy. For those, like me, who love discovering authentic flavors or simply want to experience a culinary journey, this Peruvian restaurant in Novara is a must-visit.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff. I will definitely be back, and this time I'll bring friends too.
