Eminem first introduced the 'Mom's Spaghetti' concept as a series of pop-up events, often appearing at festivals or album launches.
The permanent brick-and-mortar location of Mom's Spaghetti opened in downtown Detroit.
Eminem, the Grammy-winning rapper, ventured into the culinary world by opening Mom's Spaghetti, a restaurant concept directly inspired by a line from his hit song 'Lose Yourself'. While not a traditional chef, he is the proprietor and creative force behind this unique eatery.

The restaurant's name and concept are a direct reference to the lyrics 'His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy / There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti' from Eminem's 2002 song 'Lose Yourself'. Mom's Spaghetti initially started as a series of pop-up events in 2017 before becoming a permanent establishment in Detroit.
