Dwarf Grill, Chick-fil-A
Cathy's mother was a wonderful cook, and he recalled having boarders in his home from the time he was four. He served in the U.S. Army and, after his tour of duty, pursued his dream of owning a business. He built a small restaurant named Dwarf Grill with his brother. After two decades in the restaurant business, Cathy opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant, a new concept at the time located in a shopping mall.
