Summary: They need bigger portions for the price, but otherwise an enjoyable place for a nicer or celebratory meal that can accommodate big groups if needed (though we were a party of 3).
The food was creative and tasty, showing good range of the kitchen. However, the vegetables were all presented the same way, despite being good portions.
The portion sizes were too small for the price. The salmon was just laughably tiny. Look at the picture. The server explained that by saying it was “shareable”, claiming it was 5oz (it definitely wasn’t), but wouldn’t “shareable” mean larger? The other two meats were well executed but a little small.
Food: 3/5
The service was solid, except it took a while to get someone to explain the menu at first, since it’s not clear how you’re intended to order.
Service: 4/5
The atmosphere was quite nice. But it’s also a little generic/flat. Needs something unique that isn’t just “big modern space with exposed brick and accent lighting”.

I might come back if I need a nice place right in Harvard square, but there are so many places to try in Boston first.
Awesome atmosphere, awesome food, awesome service!
Waitress gaves us a special treatment to explain which options were halal in the menu, which was very detailed and clean.
I ended up ordering Ny strip, medium rare. The portion amount was fairly small. Everything else was great! Highly suggested.
My wife also ordered a burger, which was amazing too! She ordered well done Burger, which was still fairly juicy and not dry at all. Beside, who else does prepare such chips any more?
Highly suggested!

BASIL PASTA! Probably the best dish I had in a very long time. So unbelievably flavorful and must have. I also tried strawberry burrata, that was good but too many peas and too much bread for the amount that we got. I tried the cider they had on draft, it was pretty bad in cider standards, not a lot of flavor. The service was quick and efficient, we were in and out within an hour. A lot of space for big parties.

We had brunch with a friend and it was a great experience. We could only sit at the bar with our reservation but it was a fun vibe. We ordered a bunch of stuff family style but we really enjoyed ourselves. They messed up my order which I asked for without bacon but they remade it. Sweet server and no complaints honestly. We had a great time!

Stopped by Alden & Harlow recently for a family dinner and really enjoyed it. The vibe is lively but still relaxed, and it’s a great spot to catch up with friends.
We shared a bunch of small plates and everything was creative and packed with flavor definitely not your typical menu.
Service was friendly and helpful with recommendations, which made it even better. A little on the pricier side for drinks and didnt feel worth it, but it's okay for a nice night out.
