Well, this place is definitely worth all the hype. There is so much action on this street and its due to this place. The queues dont end easily and once you are inside, you can feel and smell good food around.
The service is quick, limited menu but its definitely one of the best places to have sandwiches. Veg options are limited but good.
Tried 2 sandwiches here and both were brilliant. Must try.
Worth to wait. The line looks long but it moves fast. We waited about 20 minutes in the line was halfway down the block. Lots of good options for the italiana and the summer are basically the same thing with no pesto on the summer. The sandwich is certainly worth the wait. There's nowhere to sit but you can easily get to to Piazza Vecchio and find a seat there. Highly recommend. It's always busy but to move is quick.

We waited in line for a while to get our focaccia sandwich, but it was worth it. The wait was pleasant as we chatted with other tourists and enjoyed the atmosphere around us. The smell coming from the shop was amazing and made us even more excited to try the food. Once we got our sandwiches, it was easy to see why the place is so popular. A nice experience overall and a place I would visit again.

A must try in Florence, of course. I ordered the Paradiso, it was very good. The bread has a nice crunch and was still warm with my first bite. The mortadella is delicious as is the pistachio spread.
I recommend sharing with another person if possible. It is too much for one person, had to carry half of it around for the day.
Not much of a line when I visited, only 6 ahead of me at 11am. But the line moves slow as there is only one sandwich maker and one meat slicer. By the time it was my turn, the line was out the door and curved along the wall.
I would return but would not wait outside in the hot sun for it. Many other types of sandwiches in Florence to try. But overall, I'd give it a solid 7.5/10.

Great sandwich bar!
I had a panini and it was really big and very tasty. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. There was a long line, but it moved quickly, and we only waited about 10 minutes.
Definitely worth the wait!
