Solid smash burger, great fries.
If you’re looking for a solid smash burger when visiting Tel Aviv, America burger is a good place to start.
I visited Tel Aviv and was looking for a quick lunch. A friend suggested America burger. I’ve known about this spot but hadn’t eaten there yet. I was happy to see they have a smash burger on their menu. I ordered the burger with fries and a coke.
While not the best burger I ever had, it was definitely a very good one. The fries were a bigger surprise. Israel is known for its great food, but fries are never a part of that conversation. The fries were crispy, not greasy and perfectly salted.
When in Tel Aviv, looking for a good burger, you should check out America burger.
What can one dare say about this Tel Aviv institution after reading all the positive reviews left about it?
Well, we can say that:
• the service is absolutely terrible, if not downright rude, and if you don’t chase it up every 10 minutes, you’ll get a lukewarm or even cold burger
• drinks cannot be given to you while you wait for your order
• the prices are rather excessive
• the fries are overall very mediocre (a major weak point)
The only positive point left is the burger… and that’s pretty thin, which shows that in my opinion its reputation is undeserved, but I’ll let you be the judge…

Quite good place and fast service. Good burgers. But cook doesn't know difference between medium, medium rare and medium well. I eat here quite often and never got the doneness I asked for.

This place is good for burgers. Although it might be a little pricey. I had a cheese burger with a soda drink and fries . it cost me about 70 ILS. The place is located good and the service was fast and nice. The hamburger was thick and tasted good. The atmosphere was nice as it was not a large place. I didn’t get the chance, but it looks like a good place to get alcoholic drinks

Recent edit. Quality got much worse. Portion sides got smaller while at the same time the price went up. Very disspointing.

I recommend you order the deep fried onion flower and consider ordering a caramel ice cream for desert - it is a match made in heaven (highly unexpected but just god like)
*Tip if you come late at night and its busy order take away and sit outside on a bench and enjoy great food in a beautiful city.
Another amazing visit to the best burger on the planet. Wow. As superb as always.
