The birria tacos here are some of the best I’ve ever had — incredibly flavorful and well worth the visit. If you’re a birria lover, this place absolutely delivers on the main attraction.
That said, a couple of things hold it back from a perfect rating. The service could use some improvement — it felt a bit lacking compared to the quality of the food. The bigger surprise, though, was the consomé situation. Every birria taco spot I’ve been to includes consomé as a standard accompaniment, but here it comes at an extra charge — and apparently you have to specifically ask for it too. For a dish where the dipping broth is half the experience, that feels like a miss.
Minor gripes aside, if you’re craving birria tacos, this spot is still worth trying. Just come prepared to pay a little extra for the full experience.
As someone visiting from Massachusetts, Amigos Birria Tacos blew me away! The quesabirria tacos were crispy, cheesy, and packed with tender beef, with a rich consommé perfect for dipping. Rice and beans were well-seasoned and fresh. Service was friendly, attentive, and quick — the kind of hospitality that makes a trip memorable. If I’m ever back in the area, I’m coming straight back here!

Great food! Will try again. I got the birria taco plate it was good overall. I did a pick up order and they forgot my guac. I did see during pick up they had them by the register so this might’ve been something I had to get myself. Worth checking if all items are in bag before! But great service overall.

The birria itself was pretty good. Had a bit of a kick, but other than that it didn't have a ton of flavor. When I got my food I couldn't believe it didn't come with any consomé or or salsa. I've never gotten birria and had to specifically ask for comsomé/salsa. That's really what brings it down a star. And the quality of the food was probably what you would expect from birria ay Venice beach. That brings it down a star too. Overall: 3 stars.

Air outside enjoy the ocean breeze and have some amazing tacos and more. Cinco de Mayo had the 5 tacos for $5 and it was perfect. The photo I posted was $15. Can't go wrong.
