I have to say that this was a disappointing experience.
The place is cramped. We were sitting at the street-facing bar and, honestly, had to maneuver every time to move our hands without hitting the people sitting beside us.
The music is very loud. Way too loud for such a small place.
The service is functional. Nothing more. They bring what ask them to bring, and that’s pretty much it.
The food itself:
- The dishes aim at being a sophisticated gastronomic bar food
- Honestly, only the stuffed Shoshke pepper one was interesting, all the other were pretty bland
- The kitchen stuff seems not to pay enough attention to details - meat in the Sandburger was overcooked, the bread was soaked in oil, …
Unfortunately, a couple of hours after visiting, both of us started feeling weirds sensations in the stomach and nausea. Wouldn’t call it a complete food poisoning, but that’s what happens when the food is overcooked in butter/oil.
Overall, an experience to forget.
Yossi Shitrit all stars menu, finally food with a taste!
the staff are super cute and professional and the wine was great.
Thanks for very beautiful Jaffa evening 🙏🏻❤️
Overall, a very good dining experience. We ordered 7 dishes and 1 dessert, and everything was well thought out, nicely balanced, and full of flavor. The dishes felt creative but not overwhelming, with good portion sizes and satisfying textures.
Prices are on the higher side, around 60–80 NIS for a medium-sized dish, but the quality justifies it. The cocktail menu is mostly based on classic drinks; however, we tried one of the cocktails invented in-house and it was excellent. Sweet, sour, and spicy notes were perfectly balanced. One point for improvement would be to add more house-made or signature cocktails instead of relying mainly on traditional classics.
The flavors overall are very good, the service was pleasant and professional, and the location is easy to find. Definitely worth a visit.
I’ll start off by saying the space is a vibe! The music is really fun, lots of early 2000s r&b classics. We really enjoyed! There’s a nice wine selection, and some fun cocktails. The food on the other hand was a bit disappointing. I had very high expectations, however most of the dishes just didn’t hit. There was too much foam on too many dishes, a couple of them were just too rich, and overall we didn’t really enjoy most of the dishes. The two that we did enjoy were the tuna sashimi, and the shrimp katsu. I would go back for drinks and to get those two dishes!
