Flavourless. Didn't taste any different to how I cook at home. The chicken and mash was okay, the gnocci was a showstopper. The sides were edible. There was a small non alcolohic selection. Outdoor was too cold breathing in smoke. Bread was too thick. Didn't like it here for how expensive it was, money will be better spent at the conservatory. Wait staff were rude and missed our table several times, had to get up and get their attention many times. Rude when spoken too. This place is just not it. And they don't allow take away! Loved the desserts though. Bathrooms are lovely. I'd take someone who is easily impressed here not someone who has fine taste. Oh and don't get the $50 entree scallops, they're good but I've had them for cheaper and with far nicer sauces, better off getting the cheese souffle. Not coming back and won't recommend going here for any dish, except maybe the gnocci, that sweet potato is amazing!
Celebrated my birthday here. The chicken surprisingly is good, very tender and tastes great with mashed potatoes and the salty sauce (perfect flavour). Steak and the scallops are great as well. Chicken is much recommended here.
Stopped for a quick drink. Wish we had time to stay for food. Lovely service by all staff. Young Asian man was knowledgeable and gave us good tips for the rest of our holiday. French gimlet was fresh and delicious, I had to get a second. We sat in a cosy corner seat; outside, looking over the Yarra River.
