Bistrot De L'éToile

I found this little place very charming. The first time we ate there my husband left a 🧢 there by accident. A few months later my friend was happen to be in the area and I recommended him to eat there, but he wasn’t hungry. However, he did ask about our lost hat, amazingly the owner kept it for us. On my return trip to Toulouse, I ate there 3 more times in 2 weeks period, the traditional French food and friendly staff made me feel welcome and appreciated. The menu changes from day to day, all three times were exceptionally delicious. Last night, I stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered something I never had before-pastis, it was great as well, and strong. I feel lucky to have such a wonderful little place nearby, I think many other locals feel the same way based on the customers I have seen.
