Blacklock

A stunning place for steaks! Impossible to get into on the day! We booked 2 weeks in advance! Had a perfect table, and it went so well! Our server Phil needs to run the place! The command he had over the floor was insane? Managed to get along with him very well and he really finished off the amazing experience! Definitely recommend getting a butchers cut off the menu on the wall. Just ask, instead of trying to work it out! The pre selected meats on the menu are smaller and cheaper, but the ones on the wall are as big as you like! They are also well presented and cut up very nicely into slices! The “crust” on the outside of my fillet was insane! The gravy and the chop sauce was insane as well! Sooo good! And the beef dripping chips were next level! Then we come onto pudding….the cheesecake is a thing of beauty! Massive portions and again, Phil was amazing (or terrible depending on how you look at it) at his portion control! Filled the bowl! Even had the left over dish to finish up! Food was next level! The place is perfectly situated. Book in advance if you know you’re gonna be near by. And Phil needs to get recognised as everything a server should be! He was able to jump in and be funny when we were debating other steak restaurants, his knowledge of other restaurants offerings was impressive and he definitely made the night memorable and a great laugh!

Great restaurant. 5 star service. The steak was well cooked with good garnishing and sides. However, your cheesecake is ONE OF THE BEST I've ever had in my life and to DIE FOR!. Thank you for sharing the recipe on our IG page as my partner and I have recreated it back home in Sydney. That said, I will never forget our dining experience at your Soho restaurant several weeks ago. It was our final meal before we departed London and you made it truly special!

One of the famous steak places in London, so we definitely had to give it a try! We didn’t book in advance, but we got lucky as someone was late, so we managed to get a table. I’d definitely recommend booking ahead to avoid waiting. The steak portion was really generous, which I loved, and the salad was fresh and crispy — a great side to the steak. The only disappointment was that they didn’t have tiramisu when we visited, and the cheesecake didn’t really tempt us, so we skipped dessert this time. Overall, a great steak experience and definitely worth trying!

Must-visit spot for any true steak lover! I ordered the butcher's cut ribeye, and without exaggeration, it was the best steak I have ever had. The char was absolutely flawless, locking in an incredible amount of flavor, while the inside remained perfectly tender, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection. From the very first bite, the quality of the meat was undeniable. The service was top-notch to match, making the entire dining experience seamless and memorable. If you appreciate a properly executed, high-caliber steak, this place delivers. I will definitely be back.

Outstanding meal at Blacklock Soho. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was exceptional from start to finish. The meat was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and served in generous portions. Great value for the quality you receive. If you’re looking for an authentic London dining experience with fantastic service and incredible food, Blacklock Soho is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
