Café 65

My connection with this place starts from foodie box as we used to order pasta and sandwiches from foodie box and it was Devesh uncle, Annant's father, who delivered our food for the very first time in a classic OG Maruti Omni with a simple smile on his face. The subsequent deliveries featured Annant on his bike and what started as a craze for us soon became a habit. Their white sauce pasta and red sauce pasta, which Annant himself used to prepare at that time were instant classics for our palate. Soon the success story followed up with Café 651, and it was time for Annant the chef to make way for Annant the barista and Annant the manager. The place has it's own ups and downs. The positives: the food, the coffee, the variety in the menu card, Annant as your host, the paintings on the wall, a clean toilet in one corner of the sitting space. The areas that need improvement: the appearance may seem congested, the Café is not soundproof - voices echo, chatter from nearby tables may disturb your conversation when it's nearly a full house, ventilation is one more thing that needs attention in days of May and June when it's scorching outside, and like us if you're a patron of the guy even before this place existed then you might miss his OG culinary skills 🙂. All in all a compact café managed by someone who knows his art.
