I am so glad we stopped by! My wife and I came to try some of the pastries but stayed for dinner due to the incredible service we received from Ryan and the other members of the staff. I’ve been to many higher end restaurants and this is some of the best waiting I have seen. Everyone was kind and very attentive but not overbearing.
We tried one of the pizzas and it was delicious! The dough was fresh and perfectly baked. The flavors were spot on. The desserts were also incredible, some of the top patisserie items you can find in St. Louis to be honest. Highly recommend the hazelnut tart, though everything is a must.
It is a bit pricey and some of the items are very pricey but the experience you get is worth it. I highly recommend coming for dessert to anyone.

Let me preface with the fact that the Chef was absolutely fantastic and the food and presentation was wonderful; however, the entire dining was subpar. The only reason we enjoyed our meal was because of the Chef.
Our waitress was kind, but forgot multiple items, had to be reminded a few times before we received them while certain things were never brought out. We also asked for to go items which were not the same as the display desserts. Our bill was also wrong and had to be fixed which was frustrating.
All in all it was a very disappointing night
I went here last weekend and had a fabulous time! The restaurant itself is a work of art. Everything from the tables, to the light fixtures, to the bathrooms is gorgeous. We got seated at a table in the bar with super comfy chairs. We ordered a calamari appetizer and then I got the braised beef pasta dish. The food was divine! Our server was very knowledgeable about both the drinks and food. He mentioned that he had created the drink menu which was neat. The espresso martini was delicious, too. It’s expensive but worth it for a fancy evening. I love this place and will definitely be back. Adding all of the photos that I remembered to take 😊
This was, without a doubt, the best fine dining experience I’ve ever had. Ryan, the General Manager, took hospitality to an entirely new level. His ability to engage in meaningful conversation and truly understand what guests are looking for is exceptional. I’ve dined at many high-end restaurants and spent a significant amount at fine dining establishments, but Ryan stands out as the best I’ve encountered. Casa Don Alfonso did an outstanding job hiring him. I will absolutely be returning to St. Louis—and to Casa Don Alfonso—thanks to Ryan’s remarkable service. The impeccable food, along with the impressive selection of champagnes and fine liquors, was the perfect added bonus 😊

The food was exceptional—everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. A special thank you to our server, Paul, who was an absolute delight. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made our experience truly memorable.
