My husband and I saw a TikTok post featuring their new “Sloppy Jose” sandwich, and we immediately looked at each other and said, “Yes!” We knew we had to try it, and we’re so glad we did.
I ordered the oxtail with yellow rice, red beans, and a side of beautifully crispy tostones with their incredible mojo sauce. The moment my plate was set down, the rich aromas had me smiling. Every bite was bursting with authentic, homemade flavor. The oxtail was tender, the rice and beans were perfectly seasoned, and those crispy tostones dipped in the mojo sauce were absolutely addictive. You can truly taste the love and tradition that go into every dish.
My husband ordered the Sloppy Jose, and from the first bite he was hooked. He said it was absolutely delicious and would order it again in a heartbeat.
As amazing as the food is, what really makes this place special is the family behind it. This restaurant was opened 11 years ago by a father and daughter using recipes passed down from Mom—the same dishes she lovingly prepared for her family while they were growing up. Even better, Mom is still there helping out, and you can feel the pride and passion this family has for what they do.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like old friends. Everyone was genuinely kind, warm, and happy to have us there. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, this family reminds you what true hospitality feels like. Their warmth creates an atmosphere that’s just as memorable as the food.
This isn’t just a place to grab a meal—it’s the kind of restaurant that makes you want to come back again and again. Incredible food, authentic family recipes, generous portions, and some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
Had a nice lunch there and ordered the Cuban sandwich. It was perfect. Crispy fresh bread, melty cheese, tender pork. Friendly staff, super clean bathroom. Saw a few things on the menu that I might have to come back for.

This place brings back so much nostalgia and emotion. Every bite reminds me of my family, growing up, and all the good times spent around the table.
We tried a little bit of everything, and everything was exceptional:
• Croquetas: Absolutely delicious, moist, and packed with flavor! I even bought a whole tray to take home, and they were gone in less than an hour.
• Picadillo Empanada & Lechon: So juicy and flavorful, served with a delicious mojo and onions, yellow rice, and black beans that tasted just like my Tia's.
• Bistec Empanizado: My boyfriend ordered this, and both the meat and the breading had incredible flavor.
I am so happy to have this gem right near me—it is officially my go-to spot whenever I need a taste of home. My only wish is that my father were here to enjoy this wonderful place with us.

Food was quite tasty; I got the yucca with mojo sauce, guanabana juice n beef empanada
The yucca was my fav as it reminded me somewhat, of what id grown up with in my country.
I took off one star for service as I was a bit upset at first, as I was standing right there in front of the counter waiting for them to cater to me (as this was my very first time there n i had no idea where to go...) n they took another lady who came just after me, who went right up to the register n started talking to the restaurant lady...
But after that little "episode," everything went well, the lady answered all my questions n provided adequate explanation.
Will definitely go back if im in the area again

If you want authentic Cuban criollo (home- cooked) food, Cha Cha Cha will not disappoint. We have tried so many things on the menu and have always thoroughly enjoyed them. These are the best empanadas in NJ — hands down. No one makes better empanadas than Dania. Everything about them is authentic: the dough, the filling, the sofrito.
The pernil is outstanding, as are the rice and beans, maduros, tostones, and yuca con mojo. Rafi’s ropa vieja is the best! The croquetas de jamón and the Cuban tamales are so delish. The Cuban sandwich is amazing! The flan melts in your mouth! The ambiance feels warm and homey because the family truly embodies Cuban hospitality. Rafi is quite the conversationalist, and the rest of the family is warm and friendly.
This is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re enjoying a home-cooked meal surrounded by fam.
