Clementina

I had guests visiting from out of town for Pride, one of which is celiac. She has really struggled with it in her life and lives in a part of the country that does not have options in restaurants. I wanted to take her to a completely gluten free restaurant so that she could have the experience of being able to order anything on the menu. I didn’t know what to expect as I have never eaten gluten free breads or pizzas, and I chose Clementina. WOW. just wow. I was absolutely blown away by the food. There is sometimes a negative association with gluten free pizza or bread and I have to admit I was a bit skeptical but everything we had was SO GOOD. the focaccia was fluffy and the texture was so pleasing. The pizza was better than most in the city! The crust was tasty and crunchy and the toppings were well designed. To see the looks on my friends face as she ate the best gluten free breads she ever had was so incredibly rewarding. This restaurant is very special and is a truly perfect option for anyone, dietary restriction or not, to go. Thank you so much for enabling this experience for us! The interior is cozy and pretty and the staff were great. We had some fantastic mocktails too, which I always appreciate on a menu as a non-drinker! also, shout out the slab of tiramisu we had for dessert!
