Cooper'S Hawk Winery And Restaurant

I took my girlfriend Michele to Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Gilbert Arizona for her 60th birthday, and the entire evening was unforgettable. We started with the Shrimp Tempura appetizer, which was light, crispy, and full of flavor. Michele enjoyed a tasting of several Sangria wines, each one better than the last. For dinner, Michele ordered the Prime Churrasco Grilled Steak with Drunken Shrimp, and I had the Parmesan‑Crusted Filet Medallions paired with the Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon. Both dishes were outstanding — beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served hot and fresh. Our waiter, Scott, deserves special recognition. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely added to the experience. His service was exceptional from start to finish. At the end of the meal, he surprised Michele with a delicious chocolate dessert that made her birthday feel even more special. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and two bottles of the Strawberry Rhubarb wine to take home — a perfect ending to a perfect night. Thank you, Cooper’s Hawk, for giving Michele and me a truly memorable birthday celebration. We will absolutely be back for more amazing meals and wonderful wines.

We had eaten at one of these restaurants in Wisconsin several years ago. Today I received an invitation for a free meal if I attended an investment seminar. While I don't need financial advice, my wife and I decided to stop by this place to celebrate our anniversary. It was very similar to the Wisconsin location. We were seated promptly after our reservation. The food was excellent. I had the pretzel coated pork and my wife had a wonderful barbecued chicken ranch salad. Both were excellent with very tender cuts of meat on both. The service was excellent. My only complaint was the overall noise. The nondescript music was quite loud which caused everyone around us to talk louder. Prices were on the higher side but not unreasonable. We're still likely to come back (probably with friends).

Lobster, Crab and Shrimp Bisque – 8.7/10 To begin, the bisque was perfectly creamy. The meat was not in obscenely large chunks, which made it easier to enjoy. Additionally, it made it much easier to get all of the flavors in one bite. The vegetables were also chopped and cooked very nicely. The pretzel croutons on top were the perfect finish to add a bit of crunch, and they further enhanced the flavors of the bisque. Pretzel Crusted Porkchops (extra candied bacon) – 9.2/10 From the way the pork chop was cooked, to the amazing crust and binder, the pork chop exceeded expectations (I’m acting like I haven’t enjoyed this 50 other times). The mashed potatoes were absolute perfection. They were so smooth and creamy and had an amazing flavor. The broccolini was cooked and seasoned to perfection, giving me the perfect bit of crunch and freshness in every bite. Lastly, the candied bacon was perfectly salty, sweet, and crunchy. The combination of all these flavors created the most enjoyable dish. The complex flavors paired together created something that was rather splendid and close to perfection. Excellent service. The atmosphere was pretty good, the music was just a bit quiet.

Tammy was absolutely amazing—she truly deserves a raise! She’s an absolute gem. The food was spectacular, and I would definitely come back. The wait time was a bit long, but it was completely worth it because everything tasted so delicious. We even got to sample some wine, which was a really nice touch. The atmosphere was beautiful as well—overall a 10/10 experience! For dessert, I had the Reese’s ice cream cookie, which was incredible—soft, warm, and it just melted in your mouth. The ice cream on top made it even better. My fiancé got the carrot cake with strawberries for dessert, and that was just as delicious! For our meals, I had the prime churrasco grilled steak with mashed potatoes and oven-roasted vegetables—everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My fiancé ordered the gnocchi carbonara with potatoes, and it was just as amazing. Highly recommend this place—we’ll definitely be back!
