The best way to describe this place is a fried chicken restaurant set in a clubbing nightlife vibe. I feel the main reason you’d come here is if you’re looking for a party vibe while eating rather than coming here for the food itself.
Let me start by saying that the food is really good and that alone is a good reason to come here. The caviar nugget’s are just luxury all in one bite and the fried chicken is really crispy and juicy. You get an assortment of sauces that you can add to the chicken to give it different flavors that are common in regular chicken spots.
The waiter was really helpful in explaining the menu but the part that knocks this place down a point for me is the wait and actually getting service after ordering. Good thing is that we got some nuggets as an appetizer but it took upwards to probably 30–40 minutes to get our fried chicken. If you are enjoying drinks and socializing in a party aspect then I feel like this time would fly by faster.
The place does look really nice and is nice with its dimly lit lighting, but the thing I’d note is that it is really loud. It’s just like you’re in a club where you have to try and scream over the loud music in order to talk to each other but I think that’s part of the aesthetic.
Overall this is a cool place to try but not mainly for the food. You come here for the vibe as the chicken is only slightly better than some of my favorite Korean fried chicken spots. This is also probably the only restaurant that I know of where you can actually order the chicken nugget with a huge spoon of caviar on it.
We celebrated a team lunch at COQODAQ on a Friday afternoon, and it exceeded our expectations.
The food was outstanding. The Korean fried chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the prix fixe menu was thoughtfully balanced with fresh salads, classic Korean sides, and a delicious passion fruit frozen yogurt for dessert.
What really made the experience exceptional was the hospitality. One member of our group brought her 4-year-old daughter, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Instead of requiring the full prix fixe menu, they allowed her to order à la carte and happily let her share the dishes brought to the table. They even found a chair with a back for her when our group size changed unexpectedly. Those small gestures made a big difference.
I also loved the attention to detail. The handwashing stations with luxury soaps at both the entrance was such a unique and memorable touch that made the entire experience feel elevated.
The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively without feeling rushed, and our group never felt like we were inconveniencing anyone, even with a last-minute seating adjustment.
We had a wonderful time and would absolutely return. Thank you for making our celebration so special!

COQODAQ lives up to the hype — we were not disappointed at all.
The beautiful black interior with thoughtful lighting creates such a nice atmosphere right when you walk in. The clean sinks to wash hands upon entry were a thoughtful touch. The cute champagne trolley by the entrance also sets the vibe.
We ordered The Bucket List Featuring COQODAQ’s Signature Fried Chicken Feast. It included a lot of food, but surprisingly we managed to finish everything because it was that good. Crispy, juicy, and seasoned perfectly.
Service was great from start to finish. It’s obvious this is a well managed restaurant with a well trained team. Staff welcomed us warmly, were super friendly, and food came out promptly.
Also props to their marketing — they did a good job. And the cute, well designed to-go paper containers with no plastic? Yay for that.
Overall, would absolutely come back to try other dishes here.

I'd been hearing so many people rave about Coqodaq, so I had to see what all the hype was about. After one visit, I can honestly say it lives up to its reputation.
Let's start with the atmosphere and service because they deserve their flowers. From the moment we walked through the door, every single person made us feel welcomed. The ambiance is upscale without the dress code. The service was exceptional from start to finish. From the hosts to our servers, everyone was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to be there. You can tell they've been trained to deliver a first-class experience.
Now let's talk about the food.
Before anything else arrived, we were served a small shot of warm broth. I still don't know exactly what was in it, but I do know one thing—I wanted a refill immediately. It was comforting, and the perfect way to start the meal.
For an appetizer, we ordered the coconut shrimp with the honey mustard sauce. I'll be honest, coconut shrimp has never been my favorite, but this completely changed my mind. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and that honey mustard sauce tied everything together.
Then came the star of the show—the fried chicken.
I completely understand why Coqodaq is famous for it. The chicken had one of the crispiest, crunchiest coatings I've ever had, yet somehow the meat inside stayed unbelievably juicy and tender. That's not easy to pull off. They also offer a variety of sauces, and each one brings its own personality to the meal. Whether you like sweet, spicy, or something in between, there's a sauce that will have you reaching for another piece. Their chicken buckets, came with several accompaniments, and every item complemented the chicken beautifully. It wasn't just a meal—it was an experience.
Long story short, Coqodaq exceeded every expectation I had. Outstanding service, a beautiful atmosphere, and fried chicken that absolutely deserves the praise it gets. If it's been sitting on your list of restaurants to try, stop waiting and make the reservation. You'll understand the hype after the very first bite.

We visited Coqodaq to celebrate a birthday, and from the moment we arrived at the host stand to the end of our meal, the experience was exceptional.
Our group opted for the “Brucket List” dining experience, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. The pacing of the meal was spot on—each course arrived at just the right time, allowing us to enjoy everything without ever feeling rushed or waiting too long. The service truly stood out. Our server, Paul, along with the rest of the team, delivered an impressive level of attentiveness and care. Our glasses were consistently refreshed, plates were cleared and replaced seamlessly, and the table was meticulously reset between courses.
The attention to detail from both the service staff and management did not go unnoticed. A standout moment came when two guests ordered the fried chicken as their main. One piece was slightly undercooked, and although we chose not to raise the issue, a manager proactively noticed, approached our table, and addressed it immediately. Not only was the piece replaced, but it was swapped out for an entirely fresh plate of chicken—an unexpected and generous gesture that spoke volumes about their commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
Overall, it was a memorable dining experience marked by excellent food, thoughtful service, and genuine hospitality. I would absolutely return to Coqodaq again and again.
