Stopped into this French hidden gem over in the Mar Vista area and was very pleased with my entire experience. I’m a huge fan of French cuisine, and have already been to all the other LA options, so was glad to find this new one to try. Inside is quite large and all seating is indoor, they don’t have any outside seating. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered arrived quickly. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, but free neighborhood street parking is easy to find.
I started off with the Pâté en CroÛte which was wonderful. I tend to like creamier pate but this a nice and hearty country version. Next came the Spring Pea Soup which had nice flavors but I just was not a fan of, that is more on me though because I am not a fan of pea flavor, I would have preferred onion soup. For my entree I chose the Steak au Poivre which was fabulous. It was cooked perfectly and had great flavors. For dessert we chose the Strawberry Roll Cake and thought it was delicious. We ordered 2 inches but wished we would have got more. Overall a fantastic French dinner in a great setting, I would recommend to anyone.
We had a 6:30 reservation and arrived a bit early. Totally fine waiting—but we weren’t seated until 6:46, even though we were already there and ready.
the space felt very tight and quite noisy, which made it a little uncomfortable for a party of four if you want a chat.
The biggest issue was how the food was handled. We were told we could do a mix of the tasting menu and regular menu, and that turned out to be a mistake. One person received the tasting menu courses while the rest of us—who ordered entrées and sides—had nothing for a long stretch. By the time our food arrived, it was around 7:50, over an hour after we were seated (and we ordered right away). It would’ve helped if the manager or staff guided us on timing or how dishes would come out.
They also could have at least served the sides first for those ordering from the regular menu, instead of leaving people waiting with nothing. It seemed like a lot of tables were doing this kind of mix, and many were waiting as well.
We ended up sharing the one person’s tasting menu for the first 70mins just so everyone could eat something in the meantime.
The birthday vibe was nice, and I wouldn’t complain about the food itself or our waitress, but the time management here really needs work. FYI the nearby table that had been seated well before us got their entrées after we did—and they didn’t look happy either.

Love this place! Sit at the counter for a great experience watching the chefs. Have done the tasting menu (which is terrific) and have also gone and ordered just the scallop crudo, fries and the chicken which are all divine.
The peas were also amazing when we went one time. Every time is great and the wine selection is excellent. Our new favorite local haunt!

Delicious, upscale bistro with casual vibe. I enjoyed the date night… even though I dressed up a bit too much. Whoops! Skip the all-black outfit, people.
Menu — we ordered the tasting. Five dishes, very small, not especially filling. Wine is extra. We ordered two glasses, soju and dessert. Had fun going over server recommendations, she clearly knew her stuff. FYI you can have one person get the tasting menu and the other get individual dishes, they said. Unusual and a nice bonus.
Dishes rotate. You have two choices per round, perfect for someone like me, who avoids heavy dairy.
We had fun, left with empty wallets, and got late night kebabs elsewhere. (:
PARKING — Arrive a bit early. Street parking can be tough to find. We parked across the street and jaywalked. No meter.

The ambiance feels modern, slightly dreamy, and stylish without trying too hard—perfect for a night out that feels a bit special.
The menu leans into elevated comfort with a creative twist. Dishes are beautifully plated, and there’s a clear attention to detail in both flavor and presentation. Some items feel familiar but refined, making it easy to enjoy while still feeling like you’re experiencing something new.
I love the restroom—this made me smile and reminded of French core that always connects me with its nonchalant, free, rebellious, elegant but funny sense.
