We had dinner here with a last-minute reservation, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the booking process was. We arrived about 15 minutes early, but the staff accommodated us without any issues, which set a great first impression.
Service throughout the evening was efficient and thoughtful. We were promptly offered water upon being seated, and I really appreciated how attentive the staff were, they even noticed that I ordered a non-alcoholic drink and kindly pointed out that one of our starters contained alcohol.
The timing of the food was spot on. Starters were served first without delay, and we didn’t have to wait long at all before the mains arrived. For the mains, I had the prawn spaghetti, which I found quite good, and we also ordered the sirloin steak with béarnaise sauce, which was equally enjoyable.
We finished with dessert, and the key lime pie was absolutely delicious! definitely a highlight of the meal.
Overall, it was a great dining experience. The ambience was lovely, and the service was truly impeccable. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice spot for a dinner date.
The steak was incredible! Might I say one of the best steaks I’ve had. The outside was crispy and the inside was tender and MELTED with each bite: 8.5/1
The potato dish was also insane: 8.5/10
The entrees could have been better - there wasn’t a stand out and the pasta could’ve been warmer: 5/10
Atmosphere 10/10

Great location with a stunning interior! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the live pianist was amazing. We received good, friendly service throughout the night, and the food was amazing with so many unique and tasty dishes. I'll definitely have to come back again to try them all!

Dinned here on a Friday evening
My wife and I were very eager to try Eleven Barrack. Unfortunately we came when it was Christmas party season so there was a lot of middle lower tier corporate riff raff.
Apart from the rowdy guys at the table in the corner of the venue all screaming at their phones while watching Dapto Dogs i could tell this venue has potential for a neater atmosphere.
To start we ordered the scallops, duck parfait and bone marrow. Out of the 3 the duck parfait was the clear winner. So many layers of textures and favourable flavours left us wanting more. Scallops had the perfect texture but lacked in flavour.
We then shared the crab ravioli, t-bone and pork boloangse. My wife favoured the ravioli and I liked the boloangse.
The steak was cooked to our liking with a crisp exterior and medium rare depth with a side of salt. To accompany this we had the fries and potatoes. These 2 items are both must have.
We finished the night with chocolate layered cake. Highly recommend.
Overall our table service was lovely. Our waitress was funny, paid attention to detail and didn't lag when delivering our queries.

Everything about Eleven Barrack is exceptional. From the moment we walked in it felt like an elevated experience. The building has a grandness and old world charm (it was once the First Bank of Australia) and the decor inside reflects this. Plush chairs, beautiful marble columns and there is live piano music. It’s like stepping back in time to a New York steak house with European elegance.
The food is exceptional. We had the recommended fried ricotta balls with whipped fish roe, wow these were good. I could have had a bowl full and been happy. The prawn and crab ravioli was incredible, light and packed with flavour, don’t skip on this. And the star of the show was the chateaubriand - I was so excited to try this as never had it before and it well exceeded expectations. It’s was probably the best steak (is you can call it that) I’ve ever had.
Leave room for dessert, the key lime pie is excellent as is the rhubarb
Great cocktails and wine.
Service is impeccable.
Absolutely fantastic for any occasion or just feel like splurging
