One reviewer specifically mentioned a disappointing chicken casserole and poor wine.
The restaurant is described as having a tranquil and comfortable environment, suggesting it might be suitable for a relaxed dining experience. Reviews mention Sunday lunch, but also a negative experience during that time.
I was recommend this place by a young tour guide and it was one of my favorite meals of 2025! Best dish is going to the friend chicken, shockingly, but everything else we had was also just wonderful. Service was great and dining in the piazza was divine.
Fantastic quality restaurant, amazing staff and the food was next level. High end place and worth a visit for the one who likes it fancy.

Upon our arrival for Sunday lunch, we were taken back by a beautiful dining room and, upon receiving the list, immediately recognized the excellent selection of wines. Spirits were high and the group was ready for a sensational dining session.
However, the beauty of the surroundings and curation of the wine collection were part of a mirage, masking countless deficits. The abysmal execution awaiting us was one of the poorest dining experiences in Italy we have ever experienced. Clearly the team at this establishment have access to great local produce, but every single dish (except for the Spaghetto) was almost inedible either because of lack of flavour, seasoning, or overly contrived concepts.
One of the main courses that consisted of a leathery slices of pork was bathed in green, tasteless sauce and was so overcooked even the most determined of diners would find it challenging to consume. In fact one of us at the table had to abandon his efforts onto his plate like a toddler struggling with a piece of ancient beef jerky. It was also apparent that 6 ingredients were repackaged repeatedly to create the 18 dishes on the menu.
As we slogged through the 3 course lunch each delivery was met with hope and then followed by utter despair and disbelief. Throughout this ordeal, the team failed to check in on us despite our signals of unfinished plates and shell shocked faces. Perhaps they didn't care to know or... knew all too well that our situation was dire and had no hope of improving.
Unfortunately this was less of a lunch and more of a tragicomedy or tragedia a lieto fine that ended with everyone laughing with relief as we exited. Our escape was the best part of this experience. Proceed with caution, or failing that proceed with a sense of humor.

Ok we went for a meal 6x bikers, most of the guys had good food , but i ordered chicken casserole, it was the worst meal i have had in recent times, it comprised of a chicken leg, a wing (which was inedible) and 2 x small chicken lumps. Totally dry , and some fried bread pieces !Omg do not order this!!!
Not sure what i was supposed to be served, but it didnt resemble any casserole dish i have had in the past.
Good luck everyone, the wine was naff also.
