As a Peruvian who has been living in Beirut for over 15 years, I had been waiting a long time to find authentic Peruvian flavors in Lebanon—and Uni Neo Izakaya did not disappoint.
This Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant delivers a truly unique culinary experience. The ceviche and lomo saltado were absolutely superb—fresh, vibrant, and unmistakably Peruvian in taste. You can immediately tell the quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and the authenticity is clearly guided by the Chef, Jaime Ajito, who brings genuine Peruvian flavor to every dish.
The sushi and other offerings were also excellent, perfectly balancing creativity with quality. My Lebanese-Peruvian family loved every moment of the experience, which made it even more special.
The service and ambient were amazing too!

Fantastic food and service. We spent our 3 year anniversary as a couple there and it was the perfect restaurant for it. The seabass ceviche was one of the best we’ve ever had. Our waiter was so knowledgeable about the whole menu and was so professional. Thank you for the perfect dinner.
A very unique Japanese cuisine restaurant !! We sat at the bar !! The boy bartender was amazing friendly and all smiles - the girl bartender however needs to smile 😃— food is excellent and the drinks are good 👍 prices could be revised as it is on the higher side !! The vibes are nice 👍

A very unique Japanese experience in Beirut. This is not the usual Sushi restaurant u visit daily. This is an upscale place. Very hi fresh ingredients. You can pay from 50$per person to 200$ depending your selection of food. You can find very good wine by the glass and nice selection of wine.

Our first time at Uni Neo Izakaya and each one of us left blown away by the food, service, excellent music, atmosphere and vibe. The seafood is exceptionally fresh and high quality, so for us who are usually skeptical about raw food, we felt at ease.
Expect to spend a pretty penny here if you plan to try an assortment of items from their menu, but if you can afford it, it’s really worth while.

Ask for the fresh wasabi - it really puts into perspective what you are missing from the generic sushi restaurants one can visit.
