Franco's

Four of us had a wonderful evening meal here. The food quality and presentation, service and overall atmosphere was excellent. The service is subtle, efficient and I felt that all the servers were very focussed on us having a wonderful time. This was our second time here with family and it was superb on our first visit as well. My calamari was delicious - perfectly cooked and presented with an intriguing dip! The monkfish was again perfectly cooked with tasty vegetables and the tiramisu was so perfect I could have eaten two. All 4 of us loved all our dishes! We were very pleased that we didn't feel rushed to vacate our table (which so often happens in London now) and it was lovely to be able to have dessert & coffees sitting on the outside terrace, in beautiful Jermyn Street, to finish our evening. Although it didn't detract from the overall evening, we did find the inside dining area very warm. It was a very warm day/evening in London, but I felt that the dining room required better air con/air flow. Thank you so much to the servers for swiftly remedying the issue by finding us a lovely table outside.

First time to have a meal at Franco’s. Food was excellent! Very busy, but relaxed atmosphere. Top-notch service! Suggest you book a table for 9 or 9:30 am since the business crowd (nearly all men, by the way) thins out about then as they head to their offices. We enjoyed the avocado toast and porridge with fruit, along with excellent coffee/tea. Very fresh eggs! Great location right in the heart of St. James. Highly recommend!

First class service and top quality food at this five star restaurant. We had the Parma ham with bread basket for a starter. I had the lasanga and it chessy and meaty with the perfect blend of flavors. My friends had the Filet and Pasta Bolognese and loved them as well. Make sure to save room for dessert as that was my favorite part of the meal!

Fantastic Italian spot that really delivers on flavor. The food across the board was excellent, and the appetizers were the real standouts — the yellowfin tartare and beef carpaccio are absolute must-tries. Both were fresh, well-balanced, and a great way to start the meal. The pastas were equally impressive, cooked perfectly and full of rich, authentic flavor. The wine list is well curated with plenty of solid options to pair with your meal, whether you’re going for something light or more robust. Service was attentive, though the servers can be a bit pushy at times with upselling. It didn’t take away from the experience too much, but a slightly more relaxed approach would make things even better. Nice bonus: they also offer a decent Cuban cigar selection, which adds a unique touch if you’re looking to linger after dinner. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit.

Great service and a fantastic experience overall. The two K’s who welcome guests are amazing hosts – warm, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Their hospitality really stands out and adds to the atmosphere. Excellent food, great service, and a memorable visit. Highly recommended.
