Went there for my sister birthday and the Paté are wonderful. I really enjoy brioche bread, it’s so soft, fluffy and it’s go really well with the Paté.
I enjoy the food overall, but the Paté is definitely my favourite. The service is wonderful and we also got a complimentary desert over it, with a happy birthday chocolate
Overall it was a wonderful experience
Masterminded by Guy Grossi and located in the old Hibernian (Irish) hall dating back to 1902 adjacent to the Westin Hotel.
Nice to see the open kitchen and quality of food superb. I loved the chargrilled octopus and duck tortellini - scallops superb but a little bland crust and super expensive at $10 each!

I’ve been here with my partner for our anniversary, I always wanted to try tris restaurant for the lovely environment. The structure is actually very nice and overall atmosphere is enjoyable. However I’m disappointed about the service and food, it doesn’t met expectations.
Portions are quite small and price just too high. We ordered bread, polipo, crudo, tortellini and spaghetti al limone. Entrees was good, but very small portions for that price. Also, I couldn’t taste any nduja in the octopus, a flavor hard to not notice.
Tortellini was just the best plate, it was very tasty and balanced, however 6 tortellini for a plate is quite small.
Spaghetti al limone taste literally just lemon, it’s watery and has just tracks of crab, it doesn’t justify $45 per portion.
We spent over $200 to feel still hungry, a price for a fine dining restaurant that doesn’t met the standards.
About the service the quality was just on average, not aligned with what you expect from a restaurant and hotel with this reputation. I asked the drinks manu between entree and mains, we finished to eat mains but nobody asked me if I’d like another glass of wine. At the end of the dinner the drinks menu was still on the table, the waitress clean it up and get the menu back without asking. Also, what’s the point to book and asking if there’s any special occasion, if at the end the experience ends with no complementary, not even a word about the occasion?
In other words, the problems are standards and expectations, Garum is not a fine dining restaurant but pretends to be

Went for dinner at 7pm, we ordered within the first 10 minutes and food was on our table 5 minutes later (not even joking) the starters and main were nice, small portions though.
The food came out before our drinks, they took about another 15 minutes.
We ate and then were getting asked about dessert and it was only 7:30pm, we asked that they come back in 10-15minutes as we were in no rush. The dessert I got the panacotta. It tasted very pasty and bitter, was not nice at all.
Special mention to the bartender Russell for his great enthusiasm when serving drinks to tables!
