Long Chim

Its been ages since I gave 5 stars. But the tiger prawns were cooked to perfection. The sauce that came with the prawns were simply amazing. So much that i ate all the red onion, chili and cucumber. Chicken wings are dime a dozen, every other place has it. But the chicken wings were just cooked right, it was tender and juicy and the light soy sauce was just perfect to compliment everything. Such a sinple dish, but cooked to perfection takes skills. I am so impressed !!! Nita was really helpful with the menu items and even gave me little fun facts about this restaurant.

I’m still full from last night’s dinner and it’s 11am the next day, at this point I’m basically running on leftovers. We had the banquet and the portions were so generous we practically rolled out afterwards. One dish was meant to be fish, but we weren’t feeling aquatic, they swapped it for a chicken dish that absolutely slapped. Every bite tasted like childhood memories with extra chilli. Cocktails were dangerously good and the service slapped too. We had a counter table by the kitchen and it was a whole show, chefs were chefing and I wanted to join them. The courtyard looked stunning but was booked for a private event, so yes, I had FOMO. Would I come back? Absolutely. I live in Melbourne and would happily fly to Perth just for this food… and maybe for a cute whatever if the universe insists.

Exceptional service with incredible food! We chose the set menu, and what a perfect way to sample many delicious dishes. My partner took me here to celebrate my birthday and we were very happy with every aspect. Food was beautifully presented, full of flavour and colours. The set menu is value for money, good size servings we even had to have a dish packed up to take home, we were so full and satisfied! I even got a little candle in my dessert, which really topped the night off and made it special. Service was excellent, very attentive and helpful with allergies and food intolerances. Atmosphere was cosy and comfortable, although some table were quite close together, but not a huge deal.

Food was excellent and waiting staff were top-notch, but the hostess experience ruined it. We booked online via their site for 9:15 PM, arrived at 9:18 PM, and Lily claimed it was for 9 PM, saying she called us—no missed calls on our end. We showed the confirmation email clearly stating 9:15, and she just blamed a ‘system glitch’ without any apology. Felt like they wanted to close early despite reservations going to 9:45. Shocking for Long Chim—won’t be back soon. Didn’t even apologise when we paid the bill.
