We really enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont Monte Carlo. The location is hard to beat — it’s literally right by the famous Formula 1 hairpin turn, so sitting outside and watching all the exotic and luxury cars drive by was honestly part of the experience itself. You can easily walk to the famous Monte Carlo Casino, nearby restaurants, and even the local SPAR grocery market for drinks, snacks, and essentials.
The renovated rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. Beds were excellent after long days exploring Monaco. One thing to note: the room only has a minibar cooler, not a true refrigerator, which may matter for longer stays.
We also loved using the hop-on hop-off bus to see Monte Carlo and Monaco. It was a great way to explore without stressing about transportation. Drinks over the water at sunset were absolutely beautiful.
Important tip for travelers: Monaco does not allow Uber. They use their own Monaco Taxi system. If the Monaco Taxi app gives you trouble creating an account (ours did because of security verification), don’t panic — just call them directly. They sent a taxi within minutes every time, and payment by card or cash was easy and secure.
Only minor downside was the long walk from some rooms to the elevators due to the size of the property, but overall we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return.
We had a wonderful stay at Fairmont Monte Carlo. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our dog was genuinely welcomed, which made the experience even more special. We were delighted with a room upgrade, a lovely bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary, and breathtaking views.
The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Monaco and within walking distance of the most luxurious shops, restaurants, and attractions. A truly memorable stay, we can’t wait to return!

Our stay at Fairmont Monte Carlo turned out to be one of the highlights of our South of France vacation. While we initially experienced a few room related challenges, what truly impressed us was how professionally and genuinely the hotel management handled the situation. They listened carefully, resolved everything promptly, and made sure the remainder of our stay exceeded our expectations. That level of customer care speaks volumes about the hotel's commitment to its guests.
From the moment we arrived, every member of the staff was warm, courteous, and eager to help. I have to give special recognition to the valet team. They were absolutely phenomenal. Every interaction was friendly, efficient, and professional, and they consistently went above and beyond to make our stay seamless.
The dining experience was another highlight of our stay. We had dinner at Amù, which was outstanding, with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast at the Hotel Restaurant & Bar each morning was great, and I have to give a special shout-out to the iced lattes. As a family visiting from the United States, we are all iced coffee/latte lovers, and finding a really good one in Europe is not always easy. Fairmont absolutely nailed it. It became our morning ritual and something we genuinely looked forward to every day.
The location is truly unbeatable and was the primary reason we chose this hotel. It proved to be the best decision we could have made. The hotel's upper level provides direct access to the Casino Square area, placing you just steps away from the iconic casino, luxury boutiques, world-class restaurants, and the vibrant energy of Monaco. Everything is within easy walking distance, making it incredibly convenient to explore the principality.
What truly distinguishes Fairmont Monte Carlo is its genuine hospitality. While we were in transit back to the United States, the hotel promptly contacted us to let us know that we had inadvertently left some belongings behind. We had no idea anything was missing until we checked our emails and confirmed that the items were indeed ours. The team then graciously arranged to have everything shipped back to us. This level of honesty, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests is something you simply do not encounter every day, and it left a lasting impression on our family.
Luxury hotels can offer beautiful rooms and great amenities, but it is exceptional people who create unforgettable experiences. Fairmont Monte Carlo delivered both. We left with wonderful memories, felt genuinely valued as guests, and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Whenever we return to Monaco, there is no question where we will be staying.

Our visit to Monte Carlo to celebrate our wedding anniversary was nothing short of spectacular, beginning with our stay at the Fairmont Hotel. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Charles, who efficiently checked us in and delighted us with an upgrade from our reserved garden view room to a stunning sea view suite, in honor of our special occasion. This thoughtful gesture set the perfect tone for our memorable stay.
With our room still being prepared, Charles recommended that we dine at the hotel restaurant, where we were served by the attentive Sebastian. He provided a detailed explanation of the day's offerings, ensuring all our culinary preferences were catered to. The two-course daily menu, priced at a reasonable 67 euros, was a culinary delight. It included a delectable Main Course and Dessert, accompanied by a glass of fine wine and a finishing touch of coffee, making it exceptionally good value for the experience.
After enjoying a leisurely lunch, we took a stroll around the iconic Casino area. Soon after, we received a call notifying us that our room was ready. Upon entering our suite, we were overjoyed to discover a complimentary bottle of Tattinger champagne, a selection of exquisite chocolates, and a personal message from the Hotel Management, all of which made us feel truly special.
Although there were some renovations taking place during our stay, they were unobtrusive, particularly from our room. Breakfast was served at Nobu, offering a splendid variety of culinary delights. However, I must admit, the pastries were so irresistible that they might have posed a slight challenge to my waistline!
On the second afternoon, we indulged in the luxury of the rooftop swimming pool, taking in the beautiful weather. The pool's water was perfectly warmed, making it a delightful experience, even in February.
Throughout our stay, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had an unforgettable experience. Their impeccable service and attention to detail have left us with cherished memories of our anniversary celebration that we will hold dear forever. We are immensely grateful for the hospitality extended to us and look forward to returning in the future.

We especially liked the Matcha coffee place on floor 7. Best matcha I’ve had and the man who made them was excellent and very friendly.
Special shout out to the valet people outside. We had a flat tyre when we left on 29/6/26. They sorted it out for us there and then so we could leave promptly. We were very grateful. They go over and above to make you feel valued.
Would recommend this hotel and we will be staying again.
