A very good overall experience at Haoma where I felt I was expecting much more for that price tag, I am saying this after visiting more than 10 Michelin star restaurants in Bangkok. Very welcoming and friendly staff except when I felt one had other gusts felt more welcomed and was quite talkative to them except when it came to me I was just presented with the plates briefly and that’s it. The garden tour also seemed a bit incomplete and rushed even though I came at the open as the first guest and no one else was there do sometime. The cards they presented seemed like a nice interactive idea, a side note of the sadhus photo of Varanasi isn’t actually a photo of these guys in India, these are well known Nepalese Sadhus which made me also realize an accurate fact check also needed to be done.
When it comes to the food, the “Indian” feel and flavors weren’t actually there in most of the dishes, even those that were presented to be classic Indian dishes but of course prepared and served the Michelin way!
Beverages pairing of choice was seven glasses but while I was having my welcoming drink and bite, I was told because I booked the epicure menu I would have nine glasses not seven because that fits the menu better as if I wasn’t given a suggestive choice, made the price tag of course increase more.
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Haoma, Bangkok, and it was truly an unforgettable culinary experience. Our group chose the 10-course vegetarian tasting menu with the 9-wine pairing, and from start to finish, everything exceeded expectations.
What immediately stood out was the restaurant’s philosophy. Haoma is not just about fine dining — it is about sustainability, creativity, and storytelling through food. Each course felt thoughtfully designed, with ingredients that were incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. Even as a vegetarian menu, the flavors were complex, satisfying, and exciting. Every dish had its own personality, from delicate, refined bites to richer, more indulgent courses that felt comforting yet sophisticated.
The wine pairing was equally impressive. The selection complemented the dishes perfectly, enhancing the flavors without overpowering them. You could tell that great care had gone into matching each wine to the progression of the menu. For anyone who enjoys wine, this pairing is absolutely worth it.
Service was another highlight. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. They explained each course clearly, shared the story behind the ingredients, and made the entire evening feel personal rather than formal or intimidating. The pacing was excellent — we never felt rushed, yet there was always anticipation for the next course.
The atmosphere also deserves mention. The space feels intimate and elegant while still relaxed, with a beautiful garden element that adds to the overall experience. It is the kind of place where you can truly slow down and enjoy the moment.
Overall, this was not just a dinner — it was a complete experience. For anyone looking for a memorable fine dining restaurant in Bangkok, especially with innovative vegetarian cuisine and excellent wine pairing, Haoma is absolutely worth visiting.

I don’t know how anyone could not rate this 5 stars. What an experience, a journey. I went here solo because I wasn’t going to miss this experience waiting for a date ;) And I felt totally welcomed and comfortable and entertained. The tastes, the service, the pure dedication from the team to learn every aspect of the menu and story behind the dishes. The herb garden. The thought in every dish was not missed with me. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Also recommend the wine pairing but be prepared to leave a little tipsy, haha. Thanks to the whole team for the most amazing night.

Amazing experience.
Having dined in the only Indian 3 star in Dubai I can honestly say this place showed more tradition and individuality.
The food was exceptionally good with some classics paired with Indian foods I have never experienced.
The pairing was a perfect blend on classics and exciting challenges with Vishi guiding me through in a very unique and exciting way letting me make the comparison and flavour decisions. The barbaresco blind was also a lot of fun. Still kicking myself for not getting it.
Overall, massively recommend to everyone to try something that is unapologeticly Indian showcasing spice and passion for terrior.
Can’t wait to return.
P.S I’m bad at photos, it looked much better than my pictures

Had a wonderful dinner (7 course, non-veg) + wine pairing at Haoma with friends last night. I love that they try to grow as much as possible themselves and that the menu shows how far ingredients traveled. Highlights for me included the Tear Drop Peas (the texture! the flavors!) and the bombay sandwich starter (melts in your mouth). But what really tied the whole experience together was the Head Sommelier's (Vishvas) imaginative pairings (not only wine but also sakes and sherries which are a personal favorite). He had great explanations, showed obvious knowledge and love of his craft and had a sense of humor which left us all giggling.
Nothing felt gimmicky unlike at a few other restaurants in Bangkok with a similar concept. You could tell that the flavors and textures come first here.
This neo-Indian restaurant is worth visiting for sure. Was drawn by its Michelin Green Star status but also came away appreciative of the fidelity to Indian flavors while re-imagining classics. Its also always wonderful to go to a restaurant in Bangkok that is not in a shopping mall.
I did wish the dessert - which was chocolate based - had been something that nodded more to the beautiful desserts of India e.g. a Rose Kheer or something cardamom and rose water based. A personal suggestion.
I would come back here again. Congratulations to the team.
