I was planning to have lunch in Gwangju, but it was cold and I was craving some hot soup, so I came here. I heard it was run by Chef Ahn Yu-seong, so I was looking forward to it.
My order was processed quickly, but a hair came out of my first sip, so I quietly mentioned it to the waiter and asked for a new one. The service was decent. The taste itself wasn't bad, but perhaps because I had high expectations, the seasoning was quite strong, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was just okay.
This Naju-style gomtang is clear and rich. It's filled with tender meat, so much so that it feels like half soup and half meat. However, the meat is a bit thin. The broth is clean and flavorful, with no offal. I visited during lunchtime and was seated right away without a wait. While the restaurant has its own parking lot, we recommend using the subway at Nongseong Station if possible.

★4.4 Hanwoo Rhapsody is featured at this restaurant. The broth is rich and flavorful, with no gamey odor. It comes with a side dish of head meat (with refills). The boiled pork soup is even more meaty, making it a recommended choice for meat lovers. I only had the soup for lunch, but I'd love to try their other menu items.

The food was really good. The only downside is that parking is very difficult. Since it is located in a residential area, parking in the alleys is hard, and the restaurant's parking lot is small. Please keep this in mind.

It's delicious. The broth is clean, the slaughterhouse records are displayed at the entrance, and since it's an old building that was remodeled, there are only 2-3 tables in each room, so it's quiet and I liked it. I'm going to register as a regular.
