10/10 across the board for service, tasty food, presentation and atmosphere. My partner took me here for my birthday and it was such a wonderful experience with explosive, fun flavors and a super attentive staff. I even got a cute birthday menu to take home, which was a really sweet touch. Great drinks too, I got the delicious yuja sour 2x! Would absolutely recommend and revisit!
Spectacular experience from start to finish. Very obviously high end but never stuffy, with incredible creativity and finesse in the cooking. Every course from the tasting menu was distinct and memorable and the variety of textures and flavor combinations was a delight. If you’re looking for a very special dinner this is a spot to seriously consider. Incredible dinner, and probably the best service I’ve had at any restaurant in New York City. Definitely a golden standard.
The dining experience started and ended incredibly strong. The meal kicked off with impressive starter bites that absolutely took my breath away with their range and technical skill, and the final dessert was equally stunning and fun (both dolharubang and garden theme desert).
However, the meal faltered a bit in the middle. While the plain octopus was cooked perfectly, I wasn't convinced it was a dish impressive enough for a three-star restaurant. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed the gimbap and appreciated its creativity.
Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the kitchen could stand to elevate or add more substance to the mid-course progression.
Service was absolutely phenomenal throughout the night. The only downside to the atmosphere is that the dining room gets quite noisy, which slightly detracts from the upscale vibe.
Dining at Jungsik was an outstanding experience and absolutely deserving of its 3 Michelin stars. Every dish was incredibly creative, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The menu showcased Korean cuisine in a modern and refined.
Each course felt thoughtfully composed, with impressive attention to detail in both taste and presentation. You could really see the artistry and innovation behind every plate.
The service was equally exceptional — polished, attentive, and seamless from beginning to end. Overall, an unforgettable dining experience and one of the best fine dining meals we’ve had in NYC.
beautifully presented dishes and each bite was excellent. our favorites was the octopus, crispy on the outside but still extremely tender, and amber jack with perilla oil sauce which was so refreshing.
the starter banchans were the perfect start, each one full of unique flavors. every dish was meticulously cooked, the salmon was tender and the galbi melted in your mouth.
really a wonderful experience.
