The appetizers and handrolls were great but definitely on the smaller side. Service and atmosphere were also great. Our bartenders Deb (I think) and Isaac took great care of us. Our check was a bit pricey but it included around four drinks, a caraf of sake, ceviche, and around 7 handrolls.
Cocktails are inspired — unique and delicious. Menu is a great blend of Peruvian (like ceviche, empanadas) and Japanese (like karaage, hand rolls). Love the Katakana and Kin cocktails. And the Wagyu and Uni-toro hand rolls are spectacular.

This place was a trainwreck. Gave the wrong beer and argued about it (IPA vs lager)… a very clear difference and then when i got the right one the “keg ran dry”. Water spilled several times. Suspicious ordering tactics trying to get more orders in. Very aggressive hostess who refused to acknowledge our call ahead to add more people to the reservation. This place has potential but the staff need to get in line…

Finally SF has a good handroll bar! I don’t believe there are any, or there are many, but happy one is here!
Came for one of the opening nights and they even had a DJ playing later in the evening, which set the vibe for a Friday night.
Overall enjoyed the experience, definitely coming back for more handrolls!
