Awesome small style Mexican shop where abuelas hand make tortillas and Chicharron.
Been coming here for almost 2 decades and quality has remained consistent. Highly recommend grabbing a bag of chicharron and tortillas to go/eat outside, and their food is decent as well!
Real Mexican food, plus all the salsa 😋
Great tortillas o m g!! One of sanfransico's best hands down, its best if you know how to speak Spanish,o yeah the close at 5pm ,parking is tough but its worth it!

La Palma has been part of 24th Street for as long as I can remember. I went to school right across the street from kindergarten through eighth grade, so I’ve been eating here for years.
That being said, this isn’t just nostalgia talking. La Palma honestly serves some of the best Mexican food in San Francisco. Everything tastes fresh, the food is consistently bomb, and their burritos are easily among the best in the city. I’m still going around trying different taquerias, so I can’t officially crown one place yet, but La Palma is going to be extremely hard to beat.
It’s a real neighborhood spot, and I’ve never had a bad experience there.
Hella nice people, hella good service, hella good food.

Ordered super burito, paid for extra meat, got almost no meat in the burito, but a lot of beans.. very small buritoin a first place, . plus left $3.50tip,
Very disappointed, and the small bag of chips was dry old chips. Only the salsa was worth.

I have been shopping at La Palma for decades. There are a few tables on the sidewalk on Florida Street but La Palma is almost all takeout and Mexican specialty food products. Hand made tortillas (HAND made not front a tortilla press) made from house made masa is one of my particular favorites. This is a great place to put together a quick meal for a lot of people. Meats, beans, salsa etc are all available by the pound or pint and the quality is excellent. Tacos, burritos and the like are also available.
