Treated my vegetarian wife to a meal at Arpege for our anniversary. I am not vegan but thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal. The service was everything you would expect from a 3 star restaurant. My wife and I joked that they must have hidden mics because they anticipated everything we needed as we needed it and even addressed things we verbally wondered quietly to each other. They were mind readers. I was amazed at the diversity of the dishes. The preparation, presentation, and taste of each dish were incredible and all different. The menu changes daily and the chef uses ingredients from his own gardens so i imagine every meal would feel new. We actually got to meat the chef at the end of the meal and you can tell how passionate he is about sharing his love for vegan cuisine. If you are a meat eater like myself, do not be afraid to experience Arpege. It was well worth every penny.
Pure, delicious and beautiful.
We had a lunch tasting meniu on a rainy Monday. It is a cosy atmospheric restaurant. Love the wall with all the flora and fauna.
Every dish was exceptionally well prepared, going back to the roots, pure. Salad and asperges in hay were our favourites.
The chef is very warm and charismatic person and once you meet him just for few minutes, you know he puts his heart and soul in his restaurant and dishes.
Thank you for the experience and wish many more years of succesful plant based culinary experience ❤️

I visited Arpège tonight for my birthday and waited for this event for months.
two years after a most exhilarating experience there. At that time every dish and every bite was a celebration of flavors with unimaginable complexity. This was done by a hand of a master touched by God.
Tonight felt like I ate in a totally different restaurant. The plates were sloppy, the taste was mediocre and no more than that.
Even the service lost its spark. The energy is different.
This can't be a 3 star Michelin restaurant!
I got to speak with chef Passard and mentioned how disappointed I was.
He attributed it to "you like the butter".
Having visited two weeks before that in a vegan Michelin starred restaurant which was outstanding I cannot accept the chefs excuse. You can do excellent mind blowing dishes even without the butter.
Now you decide if you want to spend a fortune on this.

This was quite simple the most wonderful lunch I have ever had. From the setting to the staff and of course the food it was a truly a wonderful experience. I drank the best champagne I have ever had in my life, and then to top it off the chef came and greeted us along with the other guests and you could feel how proud he is of his restaurant but also how much he truly loves to make people happy with his exceptional food. I have never eaten vegetable dishes of such quality and so beautifully presented. I will come back here every single time I am in Paris. Special mention be given to our waitress in the pictures below - she was the most warm and kind hearted person who is truly passionate about her job. 10/10.

Beautiful plant-forward menu would be fully vegan except for honey from Chef Alain Passart‘s beehives. You see his passion for plants and flowers in every dish! We were even invited to meet him after our meal. He was gracious and very lovely and welcoming! This was very much a 3 Michelin Star experience :). A must do for any vegan in Paris!
