Had some amazing food here! The filet mignon was really good, but the red wine sauce was absolutely incredible. And obviously, I had to get the Divine French Toast it definitely lived up to the hype!
I went on a Friday around noon, and the place was still pretty busy, but the service was surprisingly fast. I really liked the atmosphere posh but still with a warm, local vibe. The servers were knowledgeable and gave great recommendations based on my taste, which I really appreciated.
The only thing I didn’t like was fruit flies and 4-5 flies around the bar area. I was seated near the bar counter and no one seemed particularly concerned about it.
Overall, a great experience with excellent food, service, and atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.
First of all, you definitely need reservations for weekend brunch to be sure to get in. It’s surprisingly a 2025 Michelin restaurant. We were well received and seated. It took a minute before someone came to take our order, we ordered our drinks and were ready to place our food order. Our food came before our drinks and the food came out quite quickly surprisingly but now I think of it, it was the gravlax plate which is all pre prepared stuff( cucumber salad, shrimp and boiled egg), the smoked salmon with the poached eggs. Honestly I wasn’t wowed by the food, it was ok. The French toast however was really good, thick & fluffy. We had the dessert version with the ice cream… sooo good and rich. Between the two of us we were not able to finish but was the highlight of the meal. The service could have been better but all in all it was good. Would I go back… maybe to check out the rest of the menu for dinner but not a repeat for brunch.

I’ve been a loyal client for over a decade, and I can genuinely say this is the best restaurant and establishment in Montreal.. and I don’t say that lightly.
What keeps me coming back week after week is the consistency. The service is always professional, the atmosphere is effortlessly classy, and every member of the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome. Even the understated, elegant décor adds to the experience.
I’ve celebrated so many milestones and special moments here over the years that it truly feels like a second home. It’s one of those rare places where you can sit for 3 or 4 hours, completely unbothered, enjoying great food, wonderful company, and forgetting about the outside world.
Thank you to the entire team for the care, hospitality, and consistently exceptional experience you provide. Montreal is lucky to have this little haven.
God bless you all.

It was my second time visiting this restaurant. The food was good and the service was decent, but nothing really stood out. I honestly feel the place is a bit overrated. The prices were also a bit high for what we were served. The little omelette dish was almost $30 CAD, which felt pretty expensive, although it did taste good.
I’d still come back and try some other items from the menu, but so far I’m not sure what all the hype is about.

Leméac is a great spot for a French-style meal in Outremont. The food was very good, and the duck and pasta dishes we had were both nicely done. The service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere had that lively, classic bistro feel. It can get a little noisy and pricey, but overall it was a really enjoyable Valentine’s Day lunch and I’d definitely come back.
