We ventured out from Ocean Club to Bajamar for dinner. We chose Leola of the many restaurants available at Bahamar. To be honest Bajamar vibe was a little weird and maybe it was because I’m not familiar with that property. But we decided to go for it even though the resort felt a little disjointed…but the overall the experience at Leola was exceptional. The service was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️five star. The only criticism is that the eggplant appetizer was a little bit less warm than we like. We like hot food🔥. Everything else with exceptional and the service was literally top-notch.
We had the eggplant and calamari appetizers, and they were very good- other than the temp of the eggplant. The crab rigatoni and veal entrées, were really good. The crab rigatoni was light and flavorful with a solid comforting pasta base. I needed some nourishment and comfort food. The veal was really delicious and well prepared. We had the tropical panicotti for dessert and it was really nice. Our waiter Rashad was perfect⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The only thing to keep in mind is that the meal ended up being over $500 but we do have cocktails and so that adds to the bill. I think we had two cocktails each plus the dinner mentioned above and so get ready to spend money. But that’s how it is in the Bahamas, they have to import everything so there’s no way around it. I think the fact that it’s an island nation, they do an excellent job of taking care of their visitors.
My husband and I truly enjoyed everything about Leola. The food was delicious and the service was great. While our server fell short her assistant Kavon made up in every way possible- he was so kind and professional. We were really impressed!
While on a work trip, husband and I along with two great friends, made a dinner reservation at Leola at Baha Mar-Grand Hyatt and we are so glad we did! For starters the hostess Nique, Jasmine, and Merlene were so welcoming as they checked us in and walked us to our table. As a group of four we were sat near the bar with a view of the restaurant and its lively ambiance. When you walk into the restaurant you are greeted by dim lights, gold and black marble accent tables and lively chatter as you are transported to a modern Italy. The vibe is fun, upscale and inviting.
Our server was Indy, who answered all of our questions and helped us decide on our dinner course. We chose the tableside Veal à la Parmigiano and Indy was so helpful and suggested we added on another entre and a pasta to go with the veal. We picked the duck and foie gras tortelli, pasta al pomodoro. We ended the night with cappuccinos, the dulce de leche tiramisu and the chocolate mousse cake. The best way to end a dinner among friends! All in an all it was a fantastic dinner and if you find yourself in the Bahamas, I highly recommend!
Great place to eat! We were celebrating a birthday and our waitress Indy was amazing!
She made our night so special with a desert and we couldn’t have asked for a better waitress!
Delicious food and atmosphere!
